Momentum Vegan Climbing Shoe

Black Diamond made the Momentum Vegan Climbing Shoe without any animal products. Instead of a leather upper, the Momentum Vegan uses Black Diamond's Engineered Knit Technology for enhanced breathability that doesn't hinder overall breathability, and underfoot has a hemp footbed instead of a leather. Another big difference between the Momentum Vegan and the original Momentum is that Black Diamond didn't use glue adhesive from animal bones. Apart from that, this shoe sports the same beginner-friendly shape as the original. The NeoFriction rubber sole is also unique in that it’s molded—as opposed to the usual cutting from one sheet of rubber—to the shoe in order to increase longevity and ensure traction on greasy, plastic footholds.
