I anticipate these sandals will last a long time. They do run slightly large. I am always a size 8.5 so I went with the 39.0 which fits a full size too big. I will know to go with a 38.0 on my next pair. The leather is really nice and thick and the sole is very comfortable.

I got these for my mother as a mother's day present and she loves them.. The sizing is big though

I bought these as a gift but here is what she says- " The footbed is so comfortable and I'm thrilled to finally have a dressy sandal with arch support. My only issue was figuring out sizing. I'm a pretty standard 8/39.5, but the soles of these run a little long (or narrow?) so even though the width is perfect my heel slips a good bit. I think it's just the unfortunate reality of this cut in particular and love them otherwise!!"
