Why We Designed The Last Chair Stretch Insulated Anorak
When we are cruising through the lift line as they are taking down the ropes to close, we hop on for one more lap in the Last Chair Stretch Insulated Anorak. In the shadow of the mountain the Primaloft Black insualtion keeps our core warm while we hunker under the adjustable hood that blocks the whipping winds that bring tomorrows storm. Once we get to the top the 2L Drytex membrane works to fight off moisture from the pockets of powder only we can find and the light stretch in the fabric ensures we can wiggle, slash, and air our way to the bottom.

The perfect snack jacket
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I was looking for a better jacket solution for days with the family on the slopes since my previous jacket was too fitted to constantly bend over to help my 4 year old with his snowboarding bindings. I ski, but my kids all snowboard. It's super generously sized. I could fit a thick hoodie under this with room to spare, but I appreciate the sizing because I sometimes wear a hydration vest under my jacket (so I have water for the kiddos). The material is a lot softer than my other jackets and I was a little worried about how it would wear, but so far it's looking great after one full day out. The hood is nicely sized and fits over my helmet and I even managed to take it off WITH my helmet on because I forgot I had it on when I went for a potty break. The front velcro pocket is massive and holds all the snacks, it was a bit deep to go searching for my phone, but I'm going to try the side zipper pockets next time. I'm a women's 6/8 and I went with a medium and it's baggy and perfect. The negative (ish): It has a few loose threads and it does wrinkle up a lot (mostly from holding my son on the ski lift) and time will tell how the softer material holds up. I wish I could find the matching snow pants but they're out of size medium because it would be a lot easier to use pants with a Anorak over my bib (especially with a hydration pack on top, but that's on me). That's all i have for negative LOL.

Great jacket
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- Small
- Height:
- 5' 4"
- Weight:
- 135
I love this jacket- it’s surprisingly warm when worn with a heavy fleece underneath. I like the versatility of being able to adjust to weather by adding/removing layers. Side/pit zippers are very useful. Have not had the chance to test its waterproofness yet. But love the kangaroo pouch with divider to keep some items secure. Only upgrades I wish this jacket had would be a cinch at the bottom, and on the front of the hood, as well as a clip inside the pouch for keys/phone. A prior review would have saved me a lot of buying/returning, as it runs very large. I am 5’4 and 135 pounds so ordered a medium and large. Ended up with a small, which is still pretty roomy for a heavy layer under. Bought an XS too, for spring skiing when no sweat shirt required. Hood is large enough to flip over helmet for a windy chair (but can’t secure it). Great jacket for the close out price especially.
