    Function Junction.

Much like a tetrapod, the Astral Men's Tr1 Junction Water Shoe navigates water and trail-bound pursuits with unencumbered dexterity and ease. The Tr1 features a hydrophobic upper, complete with protective TPU overlays at the toe and heel for added defense against root-strewn trails and rocky, shallow creek beds. A removable insole features a Polygiene treatment that fends off post-play odors, and a heel tab makes it easy to pull the Tr1 on or off. Additionally, the EVA midsole, along with the Top Shank, attenuates shock and reduces foot fatigue to ensure day-long support and comfort.

    • An amphibious shoe for paddling or hiking
    • Upper features a water-draining design
    • Polygiene treatment keeps post-play odor at bay
    • Midsole attenuates shock for day-long support
    • 1mm drop offers a natural and balanced fit
    • Supper grippy sole sticks wet and dry surfaces

    Best Summer Shoe

I have had these for about a Month now. Right out of the box they fit great. I wear them with socks when biking or other activities running around town or playing with the kids. My toes do hit a little bit from the socks sliding but it is going away as they break in. I just did a 20 mile bike ride in them. Played golf in them. Hiking and camping up in Lake Placid on White Face Mountain. Didn’t take em kayaking or white water rafting. I use the Porter for those activities, but I would have full faith in using these in water sports. Astral is awesome. I would like to try a pair of the Brewer 2.0 next. ReviewbyDrew

2 weeks in, great fit, traction and comf

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: 10
      • Height: 6'0"
      • Weight: 200lbs

These fit true to size with no socks. Was initially worried about rubbing from stitching but have had zero issues. Support feels good and these shoes have great traction. I was playing around on some boulders and had excellent traction. I have not hiked up a creek and experienced full saturation for an extended period yet but have played many rounds of disc golf and my feet are cool, supported and feel free to travel. So far I'm very happy with my purchase. This is my first pair of Astrals. I am pleased.

      Grippy Rubber

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: 10

I purchased the TR1 because I had hear how functional the shoe was in and out of the water and how grippy the rubber was. Comfortable and fits true to size. The TR1 exceeds my expectations.

Thank you David. This is my spring summer trail "go to." The G15 rubber is proprietary to Astral and is not only sticky, but really durable! Those two features often oppose each other, but not with Astral's rubber! Enjoy!
