The fish are jumping, the hammocks are set up, and the only thing that's left is to choose the perfect lakeside spot to pitch The Northface Homestead Domey 3 Tent. Getting the Domey set up and our sleeping situation dialed takes about three minutes because the Domey's super-simple single-wall design means you don't even have to mess with a fly, and the three doors let everyone lay out pads and sleeping bags at the same time. Although the Domey doesn't feature a traditional fly, it does have a partial covering that seals up the airy mesh skylight and zip-up panels to cover the doors if it rains. The included Tentertainment center lets the crew enjoy a movie if the weather's not cooperating, and The North Face's top-secret SudStakes pull double duty as both tent stakes and bottle openers so we can crack a cold one when it's all said and done.

Satisfied with it so far
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this tent bases on the reputation of The North Face brand. I have used The North Face Homestead Domey 3 twice so far, about 7 days total. Set up is fairly easy and can be accomplished by one person on their own. Seems to have more space than my previous 3 person Coleman although the Coleman is easier to set up. Plenty of storage pouches and a rope goes around the perimeter for hanging items if needed. I have a small flashlight on it for lighting at night. Wish doors dropped inside the tent instead of out onto the ground. They get dirty when left to fall to the ground when covered with rainwater or dew. Has proven to be water-proof in light rain. Pros: Space Ease of use Amenities Mess screens Cons: Door design Small rain fly

I would buy this product again
Camping approx 5 trips 4-7 days per year... has done wonderful but showing it's age...I've put it to the test in heavy rainstorms and winds. This year the bottom started leaking ....October windstorm, slight tear and bent pole. It really works for me and my two dogs....hoping to figure out repair, waterproof the floor

Best tent I've ever had
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just want to say- this tent stayed dry without a technical rain flap or footprint underneath it (Because I didn't have time to get one) in a lot of rain over multiple days. I did let it blow away and get cactus all in it and now will have to buy another one, but that was my own fault...... when in the desert be sure to put heavy rocks over your stakes!
