Perfect for resort shredding and backcountry ripping alike, the Salvation features burly fabric that's been laminated to a 3L Gore-Tex membrane, so snow, sleet, and sweat won't make your 2,000-foot bootpack or gusty lift ride any tougher than it already is. Sweet Protection made sure every seam was finished with waterproof tape to seal up microscopic gaps and hooked the Salvation up with a tuck-away powder skirt to stop cold smoke from blowing up your back.

The Salvation is a pretty minimal jacket that focuses on streamlined protection rather than gimmicky features, but that doesn't mean it's bare bones. There are X-Opening underarm vents that pull in a cool breeze to keep your pits sweat free, and a helmet-compatible hood that cinches a releases via a glove-friendly Pull-Pull shock cord system. The chest pockets are big enough for skins, there's a laminated internal pocket for a ski pass, and the asymmetrical cuffs and soft chin guard keep your wrists covered and your chin comfortable, respectively.
