Super Total Comfort Bib Short
Make sure every ride is comfy in the Super Total Comfort Bib Short from Sportful. Materials and fit ensure ideal muscle support, moisture-wicking performance, and padding for long hours in the saddle. These top-quality bibs forgo traditional knit fabric for a stretch woven material with 29% Lycra. This increases muscle support and boosts moisture-wicking comfort, both of which are crucial on high-paced rides in warm conditions. And although this stretch woven fabric is thin, it actually provides increased coverage with 30% less weight than comparable fabrics.
Featuring the most padded chamois in Sportful's lineup, this bib short has an integrated Total Comfort Chamois for maximum padding and comfort. This chamois uses continuously variable closed cell urethane foam that ramps up to 18-millimeters at its thickest point, combating saddle soreness and fatigue on the longest rides.
Helping to combat sweat build-up along the lower back, a mesh insert was added for a cool, airy feel when you're pushing your limits. Its flat leg gripper uses a silicone dot pattern to prevent the short from riding up. There's also a radio/media pocket located at the back bib for storing your favorite media player. Other features include 2 to 1 flat woven bib straps for a secure, pinch-free fit, as well as flatlock stitching to reduce irritation and chafing on longer rides. Oh yeah, we forgot to mention that this bib short was crafted in Italy with superior attention to detail.

so .. i am 5'10 190lbs. these are my second pair and they always come a little tight but after a few uses they are one of the best bibs for long rides and for your zwift riding. i just beat the hell out the last bib through the covid 19 stay at home order. give them a try you will not regret it. i use ekoi, giordana, santini, sportful and ale bibs.

worst shorts ever
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
These bib shorts are awful. I give them one star because I should take responsibility for purchasing them only because they were on sale. 1) After a lot of investigating, I've realized that whatever material they use for the pad interacts with the top layer of the chamois in a way that, when moistened by sweat, rubs aggressively against the skin––precisely where you'd rather not have aggressive rubbing, maybe ever. 2) The pad is extra firm in the middle (which also means it gives you a few mm). If you are neurotic about your bike fit, this means it feels like the saddle is too high. 3) I notice when I use these that the leg length is kind of short as I can see my tan line. Overall very uncomfortable. Painful I'd say. I've had other Sportful's and never experienced this. I see why they were on sale. I also see they're out of stock. I hope they are never ever made again.

Nice bibs

The negative reviews regarding the lack of comfort on these bib are a mystery to me. Perhaps they not the best on the market but I got them on sale and would say they perform more than adequately for the price. Yes, the straps tend to roll into a rope when you first put them on, but once you straighten/flatten them out, they stay that way for the duration of the ride. That’s what most bib straps do, including some at more than twice the price. The chamois is thick And wide enough but could be denser where the sit bones rest on the saddle. Sportful says that it’s dual density but it feels likes it’s the same throughout to me. They do run on the small side, but not quite as small as my Castellis. I’m 5’ 11” and 169 lbs. I ordered a size XL and they are spot on with absolutely no ruffling amount the leg grippers so far. I liked these enough that I ordered a second pair.

Third pair and even picked up a women's for the wife. They fit true to my Castelli, Rapha, and Mavic bibs. All are medium. They are as snug as my Castelli Premio 2 bibs. I ride 35+ miles 7 days a week and need quality bibs to do it. These have become my favorite.

- Familiarity:

- Fit:

After ordering up two sizes the bibs are still too small. The straps webbed material is abrasive and dig into my shoulders. But to Sportful’s defense I am a taller rider. Although this has not been a problem with other brands. Chamois is good for me but i believe they are a personal preference. Like saddles. What works for me may not work for you. The material is very lightweight and construction is quality aside from the bib straps.

Great bibs

I really like theses bibs. My go-to has been Castelli Premio 2 but the chamois and fit of these feel great. The straps are different but I have gotten used to them. I wear a medium and they fit as expected. I will be buying more. Update: Just ordered a second pair. Have become my go-to bibs.

Terribly uncomfortable shoulder strap. The suspenders material is thin and cuts into my skin. Also, sized smaller than expected. 6’3 220 and XXL are too small. Even if sized better I would not buy again.

Super Small, Odd Straps, Good Deal?
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer

- Size Bought
- XXL

Considering the price these are decent bibs. The chamois covers quite a bit but (regardless of what they say) is not as thick as the Rapha bibs I previously had, but they are comfy enough on long rides to keep me going and they feel like they will last. As others have already noted, these are insanely small. I am wearing XXL and could stand to go up a size (I am only 175lbs and 6' 4"). I have worn Santini and others, but sportful takes the cake for super small euro sizing. Other issue is the straps -- not sure why but Sportful uses a netted material which feels fine when I am riding but gets wound up in a weird way when you are putting them on. They ultimately work, but are kind of a pain when getting dressed. Overall good deal for how inexpensive they were. Comfy on the bike and look good too.

Really comfortable chamois
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Yes, these fit tight and they are not forgiving. This is no stretch in these compared to my Gore bib shorts which are very stretchy. If you're not looking for that kind of fit then these aren't right for you, I don't think "sizing up" is the solution. These feel most comfortable on the saddle and in the drops. The chamois lives up to it's name, super comfortable in the saddle. A little bulky when walking around though. I would definitely buy these again.

Runs small so I bought 2 sizes up so they would fit. The material on the short is unusual and very uncomfortable feels terrible to wear them. I would not recommend these shorts.

Runs very small, straps dig in
- Familiarity:

Runs smaller than Assos / Castelli / Pactimo. Straps seem to bunch up and dig in. While the pad is thick, it seems to bunch up in between the legs and focus pressure there. A combination of that and the very tight waist caused seat and crotch discomfort. (135-140lbs 5' 7 - Purchased size small)

Unable to get them on.

I was not able to get these over my thighs to try them out. I am not a huge guy, and I come from a running background, so my legs are average in size. The fabric and the chamois seemed nice, but get a size larger than you would expect. I didn't want to rate them poorly, but I can't give them a 5 if I can't try them on.
