Flats fishing with the flyweight
I just got back to the Indian Ocean and have been very pleased after just a handful of days on the flats. I fished in 2 days of downpours and I was impressed with the amount of water the pack was able to shed before it became saturated. I’ve found the pack to be larger than I thought it was as and my entire kit easily fits into it. When targeting multiple species being able to hang a second rod is a must, the side straps perform perfectly in this function. My only gripe is with the shoulder straps. For the 2.0 version some type of padding would be great. Have a decent load out and keep the pack pretty full.

Negligible Weight, Great Storage and Balance!
Light, durable, expandable, all with a nice comfort and balance factor. This pack holds my water filter, food, butane stove, as well as a plethora of other fishing gear for fishing in northern Michigan. It sounds cliche', but it's so well balanced with great breathable straps that often I forgot I was even wearing it while wading for long hours..

Great lightweight pack for guiding, hiking, etc.
I’ve used this extensively for two months guiding and in my personal fishing, mainly in back country settings. It is able to hold a couple of packable rain jackets, waters/ lunches, and a first aid it with ease. The pack itself if very light and doesn’t dig in to your shoulders very much. It’s become an excellent way for me to carry the items I need hiking into backcountry spots either for myself or while guiding. I’ve crawled through some very thick vegetation with this pack, and it’s held up to snags and briers pretty well. I would definitely recommend it.

Not ideal
This bag takes on a very weird shape when items are in it, therefore it is not easy to take on and off nor is it comfortable. I also thought I might like the roll top, but it just takes more time and effort to roll up. I do think that it is cool how the bag packs into itself, but I also don't have a reason doing that yet.. The bag seems to be strong and made with good materials, but not my ideal. bag.
