You're not quite sure how it happened, but you've become a mountain runner. Instead of split shorts, starting guns, and lanes, you're now far more at home on singletrack in the woods than on a track. When you head out on the weekends to run the trails most people would only consider walking on, make sure you have the Salomon XA Enduro shoe on your feet.
With protective ankle gaiters and seamless, sock-like uppers, the XA Enduro will free your feet to dance up climbs and fly around switchbacks with protection from sticks and rocks. As you run towards more technical terrain, the Contagrip rubber outsoles will dig in to help you stay on your feet, allowing you to keep your eyes up on steep descents that require as much mental effort as physical. Plus, Salomon designed the lug profile to grip equally well in wet weather, so you won't be forced back to the trailhead when a little rain moves in.
- Run up and over mountains in this capable trail shoe
- Dual-density EVA midsole provides cushion and support
- Heel stabilizes ankles and encourages a neutral gait
- Seamless mesh uppers are breathable and accommodating

I have many trail running shoes from Salomon. What is the worst part about those shoes? The tread life and grip on hard surfaces.
These shoes along with any of Salomon's trail shoes with the Contagrip soles.. Excellent.
I am kinda done buying anymore Speedcross shoes. The soles wear out too quickly and I have landed hard slipping on too many wet slippery surfaces. I haven't had the same issues with the Contagrip soles.
The Carbon S Lab X Alps, the XA S Lab shoe and now these XA Enduros. They are at the top of the class in Salomon's lineup .
The only weirdness I found with these shoes.. The initial feeling across the top of the foot between the first two loops for the speed laces. The more I wear them the more they are stretching out and the pressure is going away.
I would recommend these shoes over the Speedcross shoes for sure.
