They've been great for the price ($60). Considering getting a 2nd pair to rotate with. I'm new to using bibs and these didn't disappoint. Pair with a road type jersey to make up for no pockets.

Poor Chamois Shape
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
As someone else mentioned, Pearl Izumi's shorts/bibs definitely aren't up to the same quality that they were even a few years ago. The bigger issue I have though is with the shape of the chamois. While the back portion is comfortable enough for the price point, the front is overly wide and causes the chamois to bunch to both sides of the saddle as you pedal. I'm not sure when the shape changed, but as reference, when compared to an old pair of Attack bibs I still had laying around, the front of the chamois is approximately 1.5 inches wider.

Favorite pair
- Familiarity:

No fancy over-the-top pad with weird contours. Works very well for my bum.

These have been great for me. I plan on buying another one to replace older shorts. Fit seems true to size (tight but not too tight).

Fantastic bibs, navy color is awesome

Really nice attention to detail on these $100 shorts. The chamois is of the micro-felt variety (in that there's a very slight nap) which I think is way more comfortable in the long run (better moisture absorption and doesn't move around). The actual bib section is really nice material, and I like that there isn't seam binding on the straps - they really disappear on the ride. These don't have the wider leg grippers, but I haven't had any slippage issues and the "tension" (??) seems correct. I'm 5'10/168lbs and the medium fits really well. The inseam hits not too low or too high. I liked these enough that I bought a second pair. The navy color looks awesome.

Run a bit small
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
- Size Bought:
- MEDIUM
- Height:
- 5' 9"
- Weight:

Bought these in a MEDIUM based on the fit of my Pursuit Attack Bibs (not to be confused with just Attack Bib...). These were about a size too small. Might have gotten away with the legs being a tad tight, but the suspenders were just too short, even in a cycling position. Otherwise, seem like the decent product I've always had from Pearl Izumi.

I prefer bib shorts for mtb and have owned several and find Pearlizumi to be high quality. These are no different and have quality design, comfortable chamois and fit well. I was initially surprised at the apparent light contruction of the shoulder straps thinking it would not be comfortable but find the opposite after using them on several rides - the lack of stiching and excess fabric makes them more comfortable and I don't notice them under the hydration backpack. These are light weight, heavy duty, no-nonsense bibs.
