Great, but could be better
It works, nothing more, nothing less. The sack is tough, well made, and exactly what you pay for. My one gripe about it is the straps and buckles seems very light duty for my case (time in the field and backpacking/rucking) but it hasn't failed me yet, so take it with a grail of salt. All in all it holds plenty of socks, underwear, snivel gear, and anything else I might need to get me through 4-5 days of roughing it. I feel that this product is best used in a civilian camping environment where durability and capacity is sacrificed for weight savings.

Perfect size
The OR 8L PackOut Compression Stuff Sack is an extremely useful size for attaching the pack to the outside of a backpack or even small sling pack. It allows me to carry a waterproof windbreaker and a few essentials anywhere with ease. The material is high quality and so far it has kept things inside dry in pretty heavy rain and snow.

Good drybag
Not a super big fan of the two clip-downs that are on the sides as the only way to seal lock. Don't pack as easily as a traditional roll top. Used for a season with good results, got a puncture in it after dropping it on the ground and it hit a sharp piece of wood

Well designed, but materiel isn't great
I used this on one canoe-camping trip and ended up with a hole in the bottom of the bag after day 1. The sack was stored in a barrel. I'm not sure how it happened but I certainly didn't expect it to last less than a week. Other than that, this design has potential!
