They pack out very nicely. I've used them for backpacking as well as general travel. I own several of the sizes and find the smaller ones to be more useful for backpacking as they condense smaller and fit into the back more efficiently.

Affordable, solid. Doesn't seem to be quite as sturdy as some of the sea-to-sky compression sacks, but is considerably cheaper. I'm happy with the value.

Easy to use water proof compression bags.

These bags were key to keeping my essentials dry during a backpacking trip I took in September. The weather was nasty but I still wanted to get out and enjoy the mountains. These bags really helped boost my confidence that all of my gear wouldn't get soaked. They kept my things neat and organized and I never had to worry about anything getting wet at all. They work as advertised and are very easy to use. I highly recommend this product!

Takes up no extra space... Saves you tons!

Recently traveled to Tanzania for a Kilimanjaro trek. At every stage of the journey, weight and space came at a premium. I really liked this stuff sack because it weighs virtually nothing, its easy to purge air out the top to compress, and the fabric is SO flexible it conforms to any odd shaped void in my duffel. I used it to store food, cold weather gear, and later in the trip I used it to separate my dirty clothes from clean. I've even ran it through a gentle wash cycle and it looks great.

It's a good product and has quite a good water resistance, but it can't compare to the sea to summit equivalent. If you are on a budget though, i'd say go for it

I have them in all different sizes. They keep my gear organized, clean and dry.

Compression Stuff Sacks = easy packing and traveling

I have used these compression stuff sacks for a few different trips- both work and leisure. Notably, I used these inside of my overall waterproofing while hiking in the backcountry of Zion National Park. We ran The Narrows top-down and had zero issues with loadout or gear. I have also used these for regular travel, they're great for separating different clothing items and keeping the entire bag tidy and compact.

Amazing 2 in 1 concept

I have used this item now for 3 different military field exercises and I am sold on the concept. This is the best go between I've found between a compression sack and a dry bag. It compresses as advertised and it also weatherproofs. We got hit two separate times by some pretty wet conditions and this kept all the clothing items in my bag dry the whole time. Short of submerging this thing in a creek I feel confident my clothes are going to stay dry. It also makes a nice pillow at night when you have clothes in it. I'll be interested to see how it holds up in the long run. No noticeable wear and tear the 3 months I've owned it.
