Comfortable but not for bitter cold
Very comfortable but doesn’t provide as much warmth as I expected. I wish it had 50% more fill. But I’ll keep it.

Fit, fit, fit
Overall it is a light weight vest of good quality. Web site says it runs large. No, it does not. Instead it runs long. This vest is good 2 inches longer than any other vest L or XL l have among: Patagonia, Filson, Ibex, Western Mountaineering and Barbour.

Inconsistent sizing
Unfortunately as much of Mountain hardware's size are recently so inconsistent this one tops them. It is a great vest but the cuts are on torso length on both I’ve purchased not one large the same as the other PLEASE MOUNTAIN HARDWARE use quality control.

Favorite Most Versatile Vest
I bought this vest a few months ago as I wanted a relatively lightweight layer I could wear while running in the winter here in Alaska. This layer holds up perfectly in that it keeps my core warm but also breathes. When it does get wet it dries fairly quickly while maintaining its insulation. I've worn it under other Mountain Hardware jackets while skiing too for extra insulation and it's performed well in those settings too. Oh - and the red/raisin color looks awesome. I'll definitely be using this a lot in the coming years.

Too small
This product does not run big!! If anything, too small. As if they designed without considering layering.SIZE UP. Other than that, great material

Awesomeness
This is perfect, all around piece. I enjoy the stretch more than ever. Getting that little bit of extra movement is a total plus.

Not up to Mtn Hardware standards
I had high expectations of this vest, I find it way too small and of flimsy feel and overall quality. It isn't even in the same class as my mynt hardware jackets and other outdoor garments. Vey disappointing.

This is my second vest and mountain hardwear does a solid job yet again! These vests are perfect for all weather and can layer them too! Love it

Great fit and functional!
I'm 5'11 and 225lbs and often in between XL and XXL. I previously had the Dynotherm vest in XL and that fit true to size so I assumed this one would also and it did! I love the fit on this vest as it's not super puffy and also not super thin either. The chest zip pocket can hold a ton of stuff and this vest can be worn casually or even with a nice flannel or button up shirt too which makes it super versatile.
