Comfort, Easy On & Off, Go Anywhere Boots
These boots were made for walking. It's December 3rd and we have walked 723 miles so far in 2024. We take our walking seriously and these are the boots that allow me to trek in comfort over both dirt trails and concrete pavement. As a senior retired citizen, I really appreciate how easy these boots are to put on and take off after our morning 3.4-mile walks.

Hiking boot
I have purchased several different hiking boots over the years. Salomon, Keen, Hokas and Altras. I am 5’4”, weigh 120lbs and have a shoe size of 8. I tend to size up and go with a wide for hiking purposes because I like to wear a thicker sock and my foot swells on longer hikes. The mid-rise boot provides excellent support and decent water resistance. I do not require any break in time with the Moab. They are extremely comfortable right out of the box. I do have custom orthotics that I prefer to the insole that comes with the boot, but can go with or without. The boot holds up well to abuse. I hike an average of 5 miles a day. Mostly off trail - scrambling, sand, bushwhacking and rocky terrain. I am able to handle steep descents without my toes hurting. I have purchased both mid rise and low Moab’s as gifts for friends and family. They all agree that it is a very comfortable choice. I normally wear gaiters to keep as much debris as possible from entering the shoe. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the boot does not do a very good job keeping sand from entering the boot.

great boot overall... after a few years, the seams on the sides of the toe eventually unglue and obviously leak... otherwise, great comfort, fit and cushion for working/hiking...

I walk above and beyond.
I got them to wear primarily to the shooting range, where the ground is extremely rocky. With previous shoes, my feet were killing me by the end of the day because I felt the rocks through the bottom of the shoes. These boots flex well and were strong enough to protect my feet. They also supported my ankles whenever I walked on the constantly uneven surfaces.

Defective pair
I had to return them because they were defective. The fabric on the achilles area was folded over and created a pain spot. I went out and bought some Danners instead. I was fine not giving this review, as it was probably an anomoly, but since you asked.

Great boots for outdoor activities
These boots fit the bill perfectly. They are comfortable, provide good traction, and are not bulky. Wore them on a retreat in the SC mountains and they performed very well. Highly recommend!

Good for fair weather hiking but not waterproof
Comfy and sturdy, but not waterproof. Even walking through damp grass soaked my boots through to my socks. Also, the mesh isn’t as durable as the suede on the old version and started to tear, but that’s just cosmetic damage.

Best fit & comfort for me.
Great fit - tried Keen, New Balance, Columbia, Foxelli, Nortiv and Solomon. These fit the best. Needed the width, toe box and cushioning. First hike was in Moab coincidentally - 17 miles in Arches National Park. Legs a bit tired but feet felt fine. Love these boots.

re ent customer
Very nice boot, quite comfortable, competitively priced. One complaint: the boots were slightly worn on the sides, the result of improper packaging, for their long shipping journey.
