Venti X-Lite Socks

Louis Garneau is one of few labels with the capabilities to produce every piece of cycling gear we need, from head to toe. This enviable position allows Garneau to design a system of products that complement each other, like sunglasses for helmets, and socks for shoes. The Venti X-Lite Sock is one such example. A supremely lightweight and breathable sock in its own right, when the X-Lite Sock is combined with Garneau's X-Lite Shoe, the socks' upper and underfoot mesh vents perfectly line up with the ventilation patterns on the shoes, maximizing their air-cooling capabilities.

The Venti X-Lite Socks are constructed chiefly of CoolMax -- a superlative multi-channel fiber with a larger surface area than traditional polyester weaves, which spreads the moisture across the fibers to enhance moisture transport and evaporation speeds. The moisture evaporation rate is so quick, that on numerous occasions we've pulled CoolMax socks from the washing machine completely dry, and put them on immediately before going riding. In essence, this fabric is perfect for cycling socks. Fun fact: CoolMax is patented and owned by the same textile company that owns the names to Lycra, Cordura, and many other major fabrics we rely on.

The Louis Garneau Venti X-Lite Socks are available in sizes Small through Large and in four colors: Royal, White, Black, and Ginger -- one of which is certain to match your team kit. The cuff can be expected to hit just above your ankles.
