Newly available in limited edition coloring, they'll brighten up your kit while still providing the non-special edition's supple kangaroo leather uppers and moldable Custom Fit carbon fiber soles to keep your feet content in any conditions.

The kangaroo uppers start off feeling luxurious and its thinness means the fit only improves over time. It's also one of the strongest leathers around, so that time of improvement will stretch on and on through years of use. Lake punctuates the leather with perforations and mesh paneling to improve airflow and cut down on hot or clammy feet. The enclosure is governed by two BOA dials, which give you the option to make micro adjustments to the fit of the forefoot and heel separately, eliminating pressure points and numbness across the top of your foot.

The Custom Fit carbon fiber sole found in Lake's CX402s has been continuously fine-tuned and updated, and it shows. Without the right fit, the stiff carbon sole isn't going to do much for your power transfer, so Lake allows you to adjust it to match your foot shape, improving comfort and ensuring you don't lose any energy throughout your pedal stroke. If the fit doesn't feel just right out of the box, the soles can be heated and molded to the exact shape of your feet. Though it sounds daunting, this process is actually a pretty simple, tool-free procedure that can be done alone at home.
