Not thrilled

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I didn't realize it until we took this tent out that there is no way to stake out the tent body so that it's nice and tight against the rain. I put it on it's matching footprint and staked out everything I could as tight as I could, but still the walls of the tent were loose. We ended up getting hit with a lot of rain. Because there's no cover over the front door, every time you open the tent you're getting water inside. The material stayed water tight, but I was really frustrated that I couldn't guy out the walls of the tent. Also, I didn't realize that I would miss having a vestibule for my shoes. All in all, if I still lived out West where rain isn't a normal factor, I'd probably be thrilled with this tent. But here on the East Coast, it drives me crazy that they didn't at least add some loops so I could rig up my own guy line. And FWIW, this is my second Eureka tent (I used the same 3-person tent for a decade) and I'm so bummed.

Love the fact that you can stand up in this tent! Quite roomy and easy set-up. It is heavy but not a big deal if you're just unloading it and setting it up nearby.

Stand up and Camp

I've put it through the wringer

This tent is tall enough for most people to stand in and enjoy a morning stretch! I love how simple it is to setup and how large and spacious it is for the price. It is decent in wet conditions but I wouldn't want to be in it during a monsoon! Very heavy but PERFECT for car camping when space isn't an issue.

When did you buy it, how many times have you used it?

Good tent

I've used it several times

Really like the tent. It's a good size, easy to put up and take down. Love the fact you can stand up inside.

Are the seams taped or are they sealed? or nothing

Is there a footprint / ground cloth that fits this well?

I tried to look online, and I don't believe a footprint is made for this tent. However, you could easily go to walmart or a hardware store, and by some tyvek and make a lightweight durable footprint for this tent! It would work just as well as a manufactured footprint.
