Boot so narrow it caused nerve damage

I was fitted into these boots last year. Size 25.5. When I was getting fitted, they were a bit snug, but not too uncomfortable for boots especially considering I like mine tight. I was excited about these because I've heard wonderful things about Dynafit. My first day in the back country was an avy course so granted I was on my feet for a long time. By the end of the day, I could barely walk. And I had to get right back out the next day. I could barely make it more than a couple 100 feet before stopping having to take my boot completely off and stretch my foot. The pain was like fire shooting from the sole of my foot all the way into my calf. I come to find out that the boots were so tight it caused nerve damage. And any of you who have experience with nerve damage know, it takes a long time to go away. My entire ski season was horribly impacted by one day in these boots. When it came time to get new boots, I thought maybe I had been fitted into a size too small. So, not wanting to give up, I sized up to a 26 and 26.5. Immediately upon putting on the boot realized these boots are incredibly narrow. I have what I consider to be normal width feet and have never struggled with width issues before. I also believe the calf is very narrow and was constricting the nerve, making the problem worse. If you don't have incredibly narrow narrow feet and calves, this boot is not for you. Disappointing because they're expensive and regarded as one of the best.
