Good travel companion
So far so good! So many pockets and fits great on my back. Lots of travel packs lack the actual carrying capacity when the pack gets heavy and straps don’t hold up. This pack is what I thought it would be for a heavy pack and the straps and back pad are great for the heavier loads and long travel days

Great Bag
Construction feels solid and it looks really good in person. I wasn’t sure about the big pocket being on the back, but it hasn’t been an issue; most of the time I just leave the zippers staged between the shoulder straps and reach in like a grab bag. Overall, it’s been great for everyday commuting with work and workout gear.

For the One Baggers....
I've been using this bag for over a year now for one bag travels, having downsized from a Cotopaxi 35L. The Creek Mandate has a sleek form factor, is lower profile and low key (it doesn't scream tourist), and it's light and versatile. I've taken it all over the States as well as Europe and Africa. Fully packed, it fits in Frontier Airlines' personal item bin as well as in the overhead compartment of small regional planes in Tanzania. The 28L is just enough for me to carry clothes for 10-14 days, an extra pair of shoes, my toiletries, 11" iPad, GoPro and accessories, with a good amount of room to spare for snacks and other gadgets. It's a great bag, almost perfect. The only thing I don't like is when accessing the main compartment, you have to take the bag off and move the straps to the side to get inside. Other than that, I have yet to find a better bag for my purposes.

Commuter and Weekend Bag
Great bag, lots of pockets. Still getting used to all the locations to fill in the spaces. Seems durable for commuting into NYC and also for weekend trips. My last Black Diamond bookbag lasted me over 10 years so I suspect this will last just the same.

Sleek and Functional
I purchased this backpack for work-related travel and was not disappointed. The construction is rugged and it does not collapse when not entirely filled. Lots of pockets, but not bulky when full.

Cool Travel bag
The only reason this Bag is not 5 stars is the way the main compartment opens. Its is more like a suitcase style than a standard back pack which isn't a deal braker but will take som getting used to.

Bullet proof, good space, well thought-out design
I have had this bag for a few weeks and I really like it. While I can't speak conclusively to durability, the materials feel very high quality and I believe this bag will last a LONG time. I needed a bag that I could use both as a day pack for some winter gear, gym clothes etc. but also use as my work bag so I didn't have to lug two separate bags. Remarkably, the bag does both pretty well. While the main clothing compartment is not super easy to acess, I found that the zipper configuration does make it easy to find the right items quickly. Love all of the loops and extra features. I've worn it fully packed for a half day of skiing and it stayed comfy the whole time. Would definitely buy this again. May even look for a larger size to use for traveling.

Great Backpack
This is my second one, the right strap on the first frayed over about 2 years, but I love the side layout, pockets and capacity so much I can't go back to a different backpack
