Both broke on metal swivel

Had them a yr, both broke , metal swivel part snapped. I took it to where I had ordered it, the company would not fix or replace them. I paid a lot and did not know about a fee insurance, that is silly for the cost of the shoes! I will never order from this company again! They are not worth the cost or hassel.

Atlas Race Snowshoe

I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Christmas present to my wife who wants to snowshoe but also enter a race or two during the season. Super light, half the weight of my Atlas 11. She is very happy with them, very easy to run with. She is a size 8.5 running show, which has been used. Made me nervous at first that her feet would get cold, so purchased Huron Gaiters. Feet stayed warm and dry. So far they have held up very well, will update if we have any problems with binder as season goes on! Binding is very easy to adjust, strap on and remove.

Atlas Race Snowshoe

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I wore these for the first time in a recent 50k snowshoe race. They are light and fairly maneuverable and allow for a more natural running stride than other snowshoes I've tried. I like the binding system. I was enthusiastic about my purchase until the metal crampon base broke halfway through the race. The conditions were not terrible (and I weigh about 125 lb), so I am left to question the toughness and durability of these snowshoes. I liked them enough that I'd be willing to try another pair. Plus, many people in the race were wearing these and had no trouble. Maybe I got the rare lemon.

hi Erin. i had exactly the same problem, my Atlas Race snowshoes broke in a week, luckily i got my money back and bought some North American made snowshoes. Cameron

Very light, but rigid. Very easy to straps on the boots and easy to come out.
