    Now, you're brimming.

Wear the Anon Blitz Helmet, and hit it hard. The Endura-Shell two-piece construction features an injection-molded ABS exterior to increase durability and make it long-lasting. The Blitz's brim keeps the sun out of your eyes on those blue bird days that you love so. This helmet offers temperature versatility with the Active Climate Control, which allows fine-tuned climate control with just one hand, for maximum airflow, warmth, or something in the middle. With a removable expedition-fleece-lined liner and ear pads, you can charge with just a beanie and the shell, if that's your thing.

    New Lid

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Love the helmet runs a tinny bit small but honestly you dont want that thing moving around much on your dome piece :) easy to remove the padding inside if you like shredding with a Bennie underneath. however i find that it only fits right with goggles on and all the pads in. But it does the job and i dig it

    Super Comfortable Helmet

I would recommend buying this helmet based on comfort alone! Great profile and look is an added bonus. I was undecided about getting a helmet with a brim, but I'm happy I went with the brim. Keeps the snow from building up on my goggles and creating any fog issues.

      Poorly made, design flaws

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Bought this helmet for it's compatibility with the Outdoor Tech bluetooth chips. Rode with it for 3 days and I'm trying to return it.

As other reviewers have noted, there is nothing to prevent the chinstrap clip from falling off. This happened every single day I used the helmet and I almost dropped the clip down a storm drain.

The lining of the helmet is thin and was already showing signs of separating after very light use. The velcro was poking through and irritating my scalp.

The process of inserting and removing the bluetooth speakers requires removal of the entire back part of the liner. I did this three times to charge the speakers each night and by the end of our short trip, the liner was showing a surprising amount of wear and tear.

And finally, when the speakers are in, your ears will get pretty sore after a while. To be fair, this may not be a criticism of this helmet in particular and may be a limitation of the current generation of wireless speakers.

      Fantastic helmet with 2 flaws

First, I love the fit, look, comfort, everything about the helmet except...

        Now to the flaws:

        1. The ear pieces do not lock in and fall out while I ski. My 1st blitz did this only on one side so I exchanged for a 2nd one thinking it was a defect specific to the one helmet. My 2nd blitz does this on both sides. I chose to keep it and deal but I have to be conscious not to pull on them when I put the helmet on and I'm constantly pushing them up throughout the day. I've ended a few days with them just hanging on the straps. It's not bad out of the box but once it's broken in a bit it gets highly annoying. This is obviously not an issue if you do the no ear flaps, goggle under the helmet park rat thing ;-)

        2. The chin strap is not long enough and there is nothing keep the buckle from falling off. It fits me good with the strap totally maxed out but the buckle is so close to the end it's fallen off several times (luckily I haven't lost the buckle yet).

The picture shows what happens to the ear piece after one whack to the top. You can also see how much strap I have to work with.

        Fit changed

        • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Been wearing RED/ANON helmets for 10+ years.

This is the first time a medium didn't fit me. Ended up giving it to my friend though and it fit her just fine.

I'm usually a 58-59cm fit which puts me on the fence for a lot of sizes (large in Bern, Med in Anon).

        Premium Brain Bucket

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This helmet is perfect for simplicity. I purchased an XS in matte black. I feel so stealthy on the mountain in this helmet, almost invincible really. All because of that matte black finish. I like to wear beanies underneath my helmets, so I removed all of the padding and the liner. My head has a 21 inch circumference; thus that XS is nice and snug with my beanie underneath. I have the Scott LCG Compact Goggles and they fit perfectly with this helmet, usually I purchase the same brand for both my goggles and my helmets but I didn't have any luck finding goggles that fit my face and had a cool design. I went for it and bought different brands banking on the fact that they would work togetrher! They did! I love the helmet, on the blue bird days that we have often here in Utah, the bill keeps the sun out of my eyes but it also lets me get that rad goggle tan I ski for. Try it out and share what you think!

        The go to.

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This helmet works amazing with my anon goggles and is super comfy.

I've got a larger head and the size large was a perfect fit.

*bonus you can put older headphones/ stereo setups in the ear pads!

        Hard Charging Helmet

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've skied over 70 days this season, the large majority with the Anon Blitz helmet. It is very well constructed, fits comfortably and it accommodates my Smith goggles no problem. It also accommodates my bluetooth speakers easily, and they are easily accessible for recharging, without having to remove each time.

The peak is neither here nor there. It really isn't functional but it doesn't bother you. Venting is absent. This season has been particularly warm, and I noticed that you sweat a lot easier than when using vented helmets. I mostly ski in the Rockies, and it gets bitterly cold, so it's a side effect I'm prepared to live with.

This is a no-nonesense, hard charging helmet that will last quite a few seasons. I'd recommend it anyday.

        Hard Charging Helmet

The Active Ventilation is not so active

        • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Just got back from a trip to Park City where the weather (sadly) got up to 60 degrees. In more typical boarding weather, this helmet is probably great. It's very comfortable, warm, and fit great with my goggles (M2s); however, if you're like me and only want to own one helmet, the breatheability on this is not great, especially if you catch a bad run of warm weather. If you're gonna spend on a helmet, I'd recommend getting one with closable vents on the top.

I have 59cm head, so right on line between M & L. Should I size down or up for proper fit. Thanks!

It's always best to size down so you don't have an unsafe amount of space for if any impact occurs and could cause injury. So to ensure a safe and correct fit and you are in between a M and L, best to go with a Medium.

Will this helmet work with Oakley Air-brake Google's?

        Hey Rob,

Anon helmets are made to fit best with Anon goggles - but those Airbrakes will work for sure! Keep in mind that the Airbrake is a very large fit, so I wouldn't recommend those if you have a smaller face.

Would the large fit a 7 3/4 head?

Someone needs to put up a list of what...

Someone needs to put up a list of what goggles work and don't work with this helmet. I am not concerned if the helmet will fit my head more than I am concerned with the fact that my goggles will or will not fit. Please advise.
