Works perfect
Emailed support last summer in hopes to find a solution for a Thule chariot on a Cannondale Bad Boy 1 which has a Shimano Alfine internal hub. Used all summer with my daughter without an issue! Two bicycle shops I went to which are Thule dealers both said its not possible with my bike. Glad I emailed support before giving up.

Expensive and unpractical
Thule France doesn't allow to leave reviews... no wonder. I had to buy this adapter for bike. Let aside the price (It's only a nut and a bolt...). This adapter will require you to carry a 13 AND a 19 wrench, in addition to the 15 you already had to remove and repair your rear wheel in case of a puncture. You get to carry two extra tools, because, of course, why would they have a 15 nut, or a 15 bolt, when they can make them of two different sizes. In addition, the user manual has never been updated to include the "recently" released Shimano hubs Nexus 5-e and Nexus 5. After all, they have only been there for 4 and 11 years, respectively.

Beware: not all hub axel sizes are supported
I tried all three hub adapters sold by Thule on my two e-bikes. None fit my threaded axles. I sent my axle specs (M12x1.25) to Thule and asked for a solution. Their reply was that I was out of luck. My "top-of-the-line" Thule Chariot trailer cannot be used on either of my e-bikes. Very disappointed.
