    Fabuloso cold weather pants!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 40
    • Height: 5'9"
    • Weight: 215lbs

I like them! Fit is a bit loose in the waist and also cut low but they work fine outside in the cold.

    Standing Room Only

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: 34
    • Height: 6'3"
    • Weight: 196lbs

    I am 6'3" weighing 196. Bought a 34 which seems to have about a 32 inseam.
As noted in the review below, these fit tight in the upper legs. The waist is true to size, there just isn't enough room for everything else. These pants feel well made and I tried hard to like them, but I can't even sit down in them. If you hike, ski, or do anything that might put some meat on your legs, these pants will be snug.

A little tight in the upper leg

    • Size Bought: 32x32
    • Height: 6'0"
    • Weight: 145lbs

I'm a 32x32 almost always - and thats what size I went with in these. The 32 waist and length are spot-on but with the flannel inside it is just a little snug on my upper leg. A bigger waist wouldn't necessarily fix this, just something to be aware of. Otherwise I'm very pleased.

Great pants but too short for 6'2"

    • Size Bought: 32"
    • Height: 6'2"
    • Weight: 175lbs

These pants were almost exactly what I wanted except the length is a little too short for me (at 6'2"). Depending on the pants, I typically wear 32" waist and 34" length, so the pant length for these are probably around 32"....just slightly too short for me.

    Best Flannel Pants

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 33
    • Height: 5'6"
    • Weight: 157lbs

I spent the better part of fall trying so many different flannel lined pants. These be the ones!!! Perfect amount of stretch. Roomy layout with a gusseted crotch, but not to baggy.

    Mans best pant

    • Fit: True to size

I started buying these pants for my fiancé a few years ago and he loves them. They are super functional - you can dress them up or down and they look great while keeping him warm. I just purchased them for my dad that lives in the frigid Minnesota cold and he's super happy with them as well. Great colors to choose from and the sizes are spot on. Would recommend to any guy looking for a pant that fits well and is super functional during the winter months.

    More seam length options please!

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Size Bought: 34

I got these pants for my dad for Christmas and he said "these pants are f#@$ing awesome!" But... they're way too long. The size chart says that a 34 regular has a 31 inch inseam so I went for it even though "he's been a 34×30 for 25 years." They are more like a 32 inch inseam or maybe longer because they were WAY too long on him. He really loved everything about the pants except for the length but because there are no inseam options we exchanged them for some Carhartts and Mountain Hardwear pants that came in a 34×30.

    Perfect for winter!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 28
    • Height: 5'7"
    • Weight: 135lbs

Just picked up a pair of these bad boys for myself. Classic Bronson durability with winter warmth. Flannel lining provides warmth without bulk, fit is very similar to the normal Bronson's in my experience. The waist did seem a little tight when I first put them on, but not so much as to say they run small. Compared to the other Prana pants I own, these are also true to Prana's sizing. Love them so far. Might need to pick up a second pair otherwise I'm going to be wearing these every day this winter.
That being said, they are only available in a 32 inseam. So if you are taller or shorter than average height they might give you the business. But if you're on the shorter side of things, Prana will reimburse you up to $20 to have them hemmed. I'd say it's worth the effort, you won't regret it. These pants will keep you warm and comfortable all winter long for years to come.

    No longer afraid of cold

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 35 x32
    • Height: 5'10"
    • Weight: 178lbs

Comfortable and practical is my request, both of which are available, so I like it.

    Great fit + cozy

The Prana Bronson insulated pants are incredibly comfortable. The flannel lining inside is cozy, and provides a ton of warmth on cold mornings when I'm walking the dog. The fit is typical Prana - perfect.

      Size up

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
      • Fit: Runs small
      • Size Bought: 30
      • Height: 5'7"
      • Weight: 145lbs

I purchased these for my 16 year old son who is 67" tall and 145lbs. They were not even close to fitting his waste, and he was disappointed that they didn't fit. I then had my 14 year old son try them on who is 67" and 120lbs and they fit him with just a little room to spare.
Many other reviews have said, "true to size" but I don't understand how that is based off of one pair of jeans and how they should have fit my oldest, but barely even fit my youngest.
They are made of great material and I'm sure they will last my son for hopefully one or two years.

      A little short

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: 36x34
      • Height: 6'7"
      • Weight: 200lbs

It's really hard for me to find pants that fit me, I am very tall.
Some companies vary in length. (untrue to size) I ordered 36x34. Although these pants are ridiculously comfortable and I really want to wear them 24/7, I have to return them. So, if you are tall like me, unfortunately, don't bother.

For the die hard prana fan!

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size

Bought these for my cousin and he loves them. Being a mountain biker he struggles to find the perfect pant with extra stretch in the legs but not super baggy. These are legit and have really comfortable fabric to go with.

      Presentable Sweatpants

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: 33
      • Height: 6'1"
      • Weight: 195lbs

I purchased these pants recently and absolutely love them. If you're like me and wish you could wear sweatpants all the time but are told they're not "socially acceptable" or that you "look like a bum," buy these pants. No one will ever have to know that you're more comfortable and warmer than they'll ever be (until you show them the lining and they buy a pair for themselves).

Deep pockets make them ideal for the ever enlarging phones on the market, and the side pocket provides some extra utility. The flannel lining is comfortable and warm without being obnoxiously bulky or restricting movement. I was worried about the length at purchase since there were no alternative options, however I was pleasantly surprised by the ample length for my long legs. Great fall/winter pant, 10/10, would buy again.

      These pants don't disappoint

      • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
      • Size Bought: 30

Bought these pants for my brother and this is what he said. I wanted these pants because I spend a decent amount of time in colder climates throughout the year and needed a good pant that was comfy and warm. They're so soft on the inside you kind of forget you're wearing pants and not pajamas and they're super warm. Can't really go wrong with them in colder temps.

My only complaint is that they don't come in different lengths. I'm not the tallest guy and the 32" inseam is just a tad too long for my tastes. I'm usually in a 30" inseam. It's not enough of a concern to keep me from buying them again though.

      Stealth Pajamas

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: 30x30
      • Height: 5'9"
      • Weight: 125lbs

I love these pants mostly for how comfortable they are, however under the right circumstances they can be stylish too! The lined Bronsons do sacrifice some flexibility of the original pant to fit the liner inside, but it's so damn comfy I can't even really get mad! I wear these to work in the winter and while biking around in the fall and they are a total lifesaver. Since they are cotton I definitely do not recommend them as technical pants, but if you want to look slightly bulky and secretly be the warmest person wherever you are, then these pants are for you.

      I bought 2

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: True to size

These pants have a relaxed, but not overly baggy fit and fit me true to size. The inside flannel makes them warm for winter and I appreciate the deep pockets.

I got both the Charcoal and Mud colors and wear them regularly. After 3 months of regular use, they haven't shown any signs of wear. They have become my go-to pants for the winter. And they're comfortable enough that I might continue wearing them on cool nights in the summer.

I see we have two reviews about the sizing that say opposite things. One says the sizing chart is accurate, the other, inaccurate.

      So which is it? I have a size 34 waist. Do I order a 32 or a 34?

      Best Answer

I would suggest ordering your correct size, so a 34. If you are familiar with prAna, these are going to fit similarly to their other "standard fit" Pants can be tricky to size online, and everyone has a different preference for how they like them to fit. I personally buy a couple sizes for a new piece so I can try it on at home and just initiate a return.

I can't find an inseam for this item. Does anyone know what it is?
