About Pendleton

The story of Pendleton Woolen Mills stretches back to 1863 when an English weaver named Thomas Kay made the harrowing journey by sea to Oregon, America’s newest state. The conditions in the region were ideal for raising sheep and producing wool. In 150 years following, Pendleton has remained a family business dedicated to heritage, authenticity, and craftsmanship.
