Tundra 35 Cooler

Whenever you're away from home and have stuff you need to keep cold—fish, meat, beers, or ice—load up the Yeti Tundra 35 Cooler and rest easy. The 35 is the smallest in the Tundra series, making it the perfect option for afternoons fishing the river, weekend camping trips, and long days on the beach.

Permafrost insulation keeps the contents ice cold for days at a time in the face on triple-digit temperatures. The super tough Rotomold polyethylene shell can take a serious beating—even bears are no match for this beast. The No-Sweat design keeps it dry on the outside and the Bearfoot non-slip feet keep it from sliding around. Yeti's Interlock Lid stays propped open and won't slam shut on your hand when you're rooting around for a cold one, either. Anchorpoint tie-down slots make it easy to secure to truck beds, boat decks, and trailers, meaning the Tundra is ready to follow you on all your adventures.

  • Bear-tested toughness for personal stashes or small crews
  • PermaFrost insulation holds ice for days
  • ColdLock gasket and InterLock lid lock in cold and seal out heat
  • NeverFail hinge system won't break over time
  • BearFoot non-slip feet keeps cooler in place
  • Vortex drain system quickly and easily releases water
  • T-Rex heavy-duty rubber lid latches won't break
  • Holds 21 cans with 2:1 ice-to-can ratio or 26lb of ice

Defective

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

I was so excited to get my Yeti however when I opened the box, the top was scratched and had a nick in it. It was suppose to be a Christmas gift, now a replacement won't be here in time for Christmas. So disappointing!

All Depends

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I think it all depends on how you plan on using this cooler. Seriously a great cooler, but if you don't put in a good use out of it I don't believe it's all worth the hype. Great for tailgating, great for car camping over the weekend, great to store your fish. Put some use to it. Throw it around, get rough with it because it is practically unbreakable. Though the price point is quite high for a normal cooler, there isn't anything special with it. You might get an extra hour of your ice not melting. So put it to the test. Use it even you don't really need it. Get yourself outside! Yeti knows what they're doing, just make sure you do too.

The gold standard of coolers - this thing rocks.

Love it

Bought the 20 size to take for road trips, had to upgrade to the 35 for camping. Love Yeti, you can’t go wrong!

Perfect for tailgating

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

This cooler is possibly one of the best coolers I've ever owned. I've used it anywhere from cooking to tailgating and it's not failed me once. Holds in heat or cold or whatever you coukd ever need it for. Had sodas in it for a full college football game in the hot sun and it still had ice in it and the sodas were like we had only been gone for a few minutes. Would definitely recommend to anyone on the fence about a Yeti cooler!

Perfect car-camping cooler!

A great cooler! I use it all the time for those 2/3 day trips down to the dessert and it holds all my perishables all trip long without an ice refill!

What else is there to say? Yeti knows how to keep stuff cold. I was trying to plan ahead for a dinner party at a friend's house. So the night before, I packed up everything and put it in the cooler with a single ice pack and then loaded it in my car so it was ready to go the next night. The next evening everything was still sooooo cold. Thank you, yeti, for being ice cold magicians.

MEH..

Familiarity:

Over hyped and over priced. Ya its sooooooper kewl and whatever but it doesn't keep ice all that long. Sure it holds ice for days if you never open it, but what's the point of that? Had 3 yetis at our camp one of each size and a couple igloo style old coolers, all of them melted ice after 1 day... It was in the 80's and in the shade. But hey if you wanna impress you friends get one.

Highest Quality

Yeti is known as the best for a reason. This cooler rocks at keeping items cold for long periods of time and is incredibly durable. I would say, it's a bit pricey, but you get your money's worth.

Great quality cooler. love it.

Disappointing to see NOT MADE in the USA

Familiarity:
I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

The cooler was a gift so I can't comment on its performance. It's the first YETI I've seen in person and all first impressions were positive, aside from the sticker on the bottom indicating it was made in the Philippines. I'd expect this on some of their lower priced items (coffee mugs, textiles, etc) but on the flagship Tundra series cooler? Feels like a punch to the gut after drinking the kool aid and spending $250+ on a cooler. If they had built their reputation making quality products overseas to begin with, fine. But this is clearly a cost savings measure on a premium priced product. Where's the benefit to the consumer? Edit: I should mention that everything about my transaction with Backcountry was excellent. John took care of me and ensured that not only did the gift arrive on time, but a day early.

Love my Yetis!

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I bought the 35L for weekend car camping and it is the perfect size! Great for a 6-pack and all the food I typically pack. I usually get a bag or two of ice and it seems to last all weekend. Totally worth the money!

Indestructible

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I have had this cooler for over four years now, and it has held up against everything. Whether it be being lit on fire, left outside for months, or dropped down a flight of stairs, my YETI 45 has survived it all. Just quick clean and it looks like new. Along with the ability to take a beating, it can keep whatever you want cold forever. Just throw in some beers and snacks, and add a YETI Ice, and you're ready for anything from tailgating for your favorite team or camping in the middle of the desert.

Best wedding gift ever

I got this as a wedding gift, and they were able to use it to keep beers cool that night, it was a hit! Super high quality, and nice fit and finish.

Best cooler out!

Familiarity:
I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I got this as a gift, but was able to use it a fair bit. Keeps items cool for a long long time, it's easy to use, and looks nice. Definitely not cheap, but the last cooler you will ever need to buy!

Great purchase!

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Yeti's really are great coolers! There is no contest between a Yeti and the coolers I grew up with. Night and day difference! They are expensive but think of all the bags of ice you've used in the past along with water logged food from that inferior cooler. If you have the funds, get this cooler!

If you're here you already know

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

This is a great day trip cooler or something to carry to an event like a red butte concert for us Salt Lake folks. For me it doesn't have the capacity to store enough food and beer for multiple people for multiple days. That being said if you have a separate cooler for beverages it could be manageable. *** Pro tip*** Pre cool your cooler before you put anything into it. Take a sacrificial bag of ice and put it in there the day before you pack it and your ice/icepacks with last twice as along. The folks from yeti say that most ice loss and cooling power comes from making the cooler cold once it is loaded.

Does this come with the Tundra Cooler basket?
