Why We Like The Wild Country Pro-Key Nut Tool + Leash
When we're the second, we ensure the Wild Country Pro-Key Nut Tool + Leash is clipped to our harness. The strategically shaped tip hooks triggers of walked-back cams and fits into tiny constrictions to work out jammed nuts. As we knock and pry, the wide, flat end saves our palm from getting battered, while the steel construction resists bending and breaking under the pressure. And if the Pro Key slips out of our hand, the extendable leash catches it.

Does exactly what it’s supposed to. That’s about all there is to it!

Best nut tool
Kinda hard to clip to some thicker gear loops but the leash is awesome

Strong and Super Useful
This was sturdy enough not to feel cheep. The band on it is strong. Got caught in a rock when dropped and was perfectly fine. The surface area on the back side for knocking out nuts was small enough to be streamlined but also big enough to get a good clean, easy hit.

One of the best nut tools out there.
Both of the clips are easy to use and sturdy. The lanyard is strong and allows for a long stretch. It would be nice of some of the voids within the frame were designed to fit common bolt heads. The flat portion on the clip end is especially nice to have. Saves your palm when you're trying to push a nut out.

would be perfect except for one flaw
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
My favourite nut tool. The only flaw is I rack out which causes the hook on the end of the tool to point away. This will, no doubt, catch on a wall each session and give me a moment of fear. It hasn't pulled me off yet, but it's only a matter of time.

Yeah, it's a nut tool. The only thing that makes it special is the leash. Works great, and stays out of the way. Never afraid of dropping it, because well you can't.

Solid piece of gear. The leash is well designed and stays out of the way nicely.

Really, the best nut tool out there. My only complaint is that if you're really working a stuck piece (ie pounding it out with the rock) sometimes the tool can snap at the level opposite the carabiner gate.
