Voile's new Men's HyperCharger Ski was born from the familiar Charger line, but boasts significant reductions in weight, bringing you a ride that allows you to trade ounces for vertical feet on the skin track without giving up the ability to charge when it's time to strip skins. A paulownia wood core is to thank for the ski's lightweight nature—weighing in at under seven pounds per pair in a 185-centimeter length—and Voile added an extra helping of carbon fiber in the layup to ensure the HyperCharger feels stiff, stable, and powerful when you stuff it into tight couloirs and open up your speed on wide aprons. Minimal taper from the tip to tail provides elevated edging capabilities for speed control and confidence on steeper terrain or on firmer snow, while the rockered tip and tail and versatile 104 to 108 millimeter waist floats you through powder and can blast through basically any other conditions you may encounter in the backcountry.
