Streamlined style for bluebird ski days.

The Women’s Apex STH Pants from The North Face can keep up with you on the mountain regardless of if you’re nailing the double blacks or the bunny slopes. These extremely water-resistant pants are completely windproof, protecting you as the wind makes you feel like a sail while you navigate the slopes. A cozy fleece backer interfaces well with baselayers and keeps you warm while maintaining a high level of breathability. These softshell pants function best on blustery bluebird days, when you can rely on the Chimney Venting system to allow excess heat to escape while a gaiter with gripper elastic keeps snow from flying up your pant leg. The slim fit is flattering on the hill and stylish for après-ski drinks, so you can skip the locker room and be on the last chair of the day without being late.

Cool pants, run very small

I wanted a pant for windy wyoming, dog walking and occasional skiing/sledding with my kids. like the slim fit of these pants, the insulated ones are just huge through the leg and at the bottom. These fit more like jeans than regular snow pants. These pants have a nice silhouette, though no insulation other than just blocking the wind. My biggest problem was dialing in the fit - I am 5'5", 144lbs. I used the fit finder and it recommended an 8 (I am usually a 6-8 in pants). I am more of pear shape, with short, athletic legs and heavy thighs, and I couldn't even zip the 8s. The 10 fit, but just perfectly, and were a bit too restrictive. I found a 12 short to finally do the trick with a thin baselayer pant underneath, but I am a little hesitant about keeping them, despite how flattering they look, because if I lose a few pound they may be too big in the waist and there is no velcro tabs or anything to adjust the fit.

Love these!

I spent a few days researching since I wanted a slim cut/figure flattering white ski pant that would actually fit me and wouldn't break the bank. I'm curvy (small waist, large thighs) and the type of person who has trouble finding jeans that fit unless they're super stretch. I was hesitant with these since they looked super cute but reviews on other sites said the sizing was weird, especially for curvy girls. I gave it a go anyway and Im so glad I did because astonishingly they fit perfect and look amazing (I ordered size 6 and I'm 5'5", 140 lbs). They seem to be high quality and hopefully will last awhile. Im excited to test them out skiing this weekend.
