Contrary to what you may have heard, tenkara isn't just for tiny trout in small mountain streams. The Tenkara Rod Co. The Grand Teton Package includes everything you need to start chasing large trout, salmon, and even small pike and muskies with a reel-less rod.

A beast of a tenkara rod, the Grand Teton is a long, stiff rod suited to throwing big streamers, heavy nymphs, mice patterns, and more on big lakes and rivers, so you can land large fish quickly. Its collapsible design makes it easy to transport to remote rivers and bring on big trips. Included with the rod is a non-tapered line perfectly weighted to match this rod, a 30-meter spool of 5x tippet from Rio, a line spool for winding line when changing locations, and three Tenkara Rod Co. flies (although you may want some heavier flies for what this rod was designed for). Basically, it's everything you need, besides a license, to head straight to the nearest river and start fishing.
