Fits well- true to size- but not warm
I bought this set for the cold. I questioned its warmth because it’s made with polymaid which is similar to polyester. These fabrics are not maid for warmth. It breathes which also means the wind comes in too. So it’s literally not warm at all. I’m keeping it because it is cute, but I’m not going to bother buying any other ones. I considered the Merino wool base layers, but many reviews said the fit and cut was not well. I’m hoping sweaty Betty does better considering their price points…

Warm with cool graphics
Chose the 7/8 legging as I thought it would help me avoid bunched up ski socks and long underwear in my ski boots, it worked! Great fit, like the super high waist.

Wanted these to work
I have have long legs and a short torso - which meant the waistband on these came up to right under my boobs and the legs ended mid calf. Had a hard time getting the crotch to sit right, no matter how high up I pulled the waist, the crotch still came to about a 1/2 inch below where it should be. The material is so nice, much better than itchy wool!

my favourite base layers yet!
every year I buy the base layers and these are my favourite yet! LOVE the pattern and the fabric feels amazing. I can't wait to wear at home and on the slopes #teamsweatybetty
