Black Stoic Lightweight Parka

I?m normally a north face fan so when I saw this coat which looked like a good replica for less than 1/2 the price I was willing to try it. I love it! So far I?ve worn it several times over the last month and I am not disappointed. I?m 5?3? 145lbs 34B 28W 43H & I bought a size small. The coat hits me an inch or two longer than mid thigh, end of my fingertips, so it doesn?t look like I?m wearing the wrong size & I don?t look like a child. It?s fitted from top to bottom. Not too tight but extremely flattering. I can walk and sit comfortably without having to unzip it so it has good stretch but also retains its shape. It has 3 zipped pockets (two side & one chest) which are so useful because you don?t have to worry about something slipping out ie: phone, wallet, lip gloss, etc. I bought it in black and the lining is a burgundy color, didn?t think I would care but I actually like that too. It also has an attached inner bag to fold up and travel that lays flat along the back so it?s not even noticeable while wearing it. Pretty much the perfect mid-length, light-to-medium coat so I can get a few thin layers under it or wear a hoodie & sweatpants without looking awkward. I would say it?s perfect for cold but not freezing days, it?s not a 0° type of coat but you can probably get by most of the winter in this depending on where you live. I?m in NYC and do a ton of walking & I can handle something lightweight so I don?t burn up. But when it?s under 20° I definitely get my north face parka out. I absolutely recommend this coat!

I?ve gotten many compliments on this jacket after owning it a month. It fits TTS - very flattering, even fits my ?more broad than most women? shoulders AND my small waist. It will be a good transition into and out of winter... not the warmest coat, but I live in Minnesota so it won?t take me through the deep freeze temps we get!

Black Jacket Has Purple Lining
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Size Bought:
- S
- Height:

The fit & warmth is really good but wish the pictures would have shown the lining & hood is purple on the black jacket too. I could see in one of the pictures that the grey jacket had a purple lining but I was hoping to score a simple black down coat with this one and was a little put off by the purple inside once I received it. For the price, fit, & warmth, I?m going to keep it because you can?t have enough jackets in MN but other buyers take note!

Good Winter Jacket for the Price
- Familiarity:

I ordered this jacket along with 2 others to determine which one was the perfect combination of warm and lightweight. I ended up keeping the Columbia Heavenly Long Hooded Jacket over this one, but it is also quite a bit more expensive. I felt this jacket is pretty warm and does well in cold weather, especially if you have layers on. The quality seems fine and it fits really well. I chose the Columbia jacket because it was a bit warmer on it's own than this and had some nicer touches like light fur lined hood and pockets. Again, I do think this is a good jacket if you don't want to spend the money for a Columbia.

Too snug
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
I am 5'4, 125 lbs. and the small is too small on me. I always wear a size small so I was disappointed that I had to return this coat. A medium would be too large. This is the first time I have tried this brand and both items I ordered were a little snug on me. I guess it depends on the brands you are used to. I wear an XS from Lands End. I wish sizing was the same across the board. Oh well.

And super, super warm especially for how light it is. It?s folds right into itself.
