Great heat retention

Was a little on the fence buying this one as it only had one glowing review and one horrible review. After receiving it, I promptly washed it then boiled a huge pot of coffee, filled it up and stuck it in my deep freeze. 18 hours later, I pulled it out to see just how warm it kept that coffee. Granted it wasn't scalding hot coffee by any means like it was put in, it still felt warm to the touch through a silicon cup and was palatable. I imagine it would be a welcome comfort in the morning after you'd just spent 18 hours in -18° F conditions.
