Mediocre winter boots

These shoes are a bit clunky. I am a little disappointed that they don't do a great job at keeping my feet warm compared to other winter shoes I've gotten. I was also disappointed that I still slipped on some wet stone, I was hoping the grip of these shoes would be better.

Versatile

These are a cute blend of hiker chick and urbanite that can be dressed up or down. They are comfortable and warm. However, Sorel sizing is not super consistent. I have ordered 8.5 size boots before and they’ve been too small, so I ordered a size 9, but they are a bit too big. I wish I had ordered an 8.5. Do not order up in size, maybe even go down a half size...

Ripped first time I put them on..

These are very cute boots, and they are mostly waterproof. The first time I put them on the loop on the back ripped because the material around he ankle is super cheap...wasn’t able to get a replacement.. Now I’ve had them for a little over 2 months and the entire ankle part is just peeling and looks awful. They also aren’t insulated at all so unless your wearing multiple pairs of boots socks your feet are going to freeze.. Other than that, great boots!

comfortable

Wore my pair on a hike on a very cold day in Yosemite, there was ice and snow on the trail and I was comfortable but definitely have to wear warmer socks. I’m a size 8 in Sorel’s and these are true to size.

I've used it several times

I was so excited about these, they are so sharp looking and by the description sounded exactly like I wanted. I purchased them from back country because of a discount. I?m trying to love them. I originally sized down like the Sorel website has suggested and had to return them because they were to small ending up with my regular size, which is fine, minor inconvenience. The more I wear them the more I?m starting to hate them. They are not easy to put on and they are extremely heavy, almost so heavy and so much work to put on I dread them. They also are not warm at all. One light snow and I could feel the snow thru my shoe. I really don?t understand why these shoes are so expensive, I was expecting a lot more from them and will probably sell them.
