Bring back the original!

I had the older version of these shoes and wore them OUT! They were the best. Bought these because I wore the treads out of the others and needed a replacement. They are not as comfortable as the original Emelie boots, the back leather heel cup is quite rigid and the shoes are difficult to get on. They are comfortable if you can get them on, and the waterproof and rubber sole is nice for winter. Overall, just OK. This is a newer version that is not as good as the original

Great features!

These boots are just what I was looking for. They’re sturdy and can stand in rain and snow with thick socks! They are true to size. Make sure to remove the paper from inside the toes area because I think this is what the negative reviews are coming from! They’re not tight at all! I’m willing to bet the people didn’t remove the cardboard before putting them on! I wear a size 9 and they still give me room for slightly thicker socks. Additionally, they look good! Highly recommend.

Love These!

Get a lot of compliments on these! They are extremely comfortable, even for my wide feet. In Sorel I need a size 7 or 7.5. The 7.5 worked well. At first I thought they were not comfortable and were difficult to put on; then I discovered I had not remove the cardboard over the instep! I do recommend these - especially with the zipper on the side making them easy to get into or to take off - no shoestrings to tie! Yay!

Cute boots, but leather is very still

I like these boots a lot -- its a great color, and the zipper on the side makes it easy to get on and off. My only trouble is that the leather is super stiff and when walking the top creases uncomfortably. It is getting better and breaking in as I wear them, tho.

I was really looking forward to receiving these boots. Unfortunately they were completely sized incorrectly. I know I have large feet(size 11), and although these were labeled on the box and on the shoes as the size I ordered, they were nowhere near the correct size. They were more like a size 9. I even compared them to many other pairs of shoes that I own and physical size was clearly smaller than an average size 11. Super disappointed in Sorel and Back Country.

Cute and comfy!

I feel like I've finally found a replacement for my tall slimpack boots that I wore constantly and got so many compliments on. These are very comfortable and versatile. When I first got them, I was afraid they might be a little too narrow, but they've softened up and are perfect. They're a new instant fav.

A favorite shoe

I have owned a pair similar to these that I wore through the mud for years until there was nothing left of it. So of course I had to get another pair. They have a different color pattern, but it's basically the same shoe. My heart is so happy!

Very nice boots

The boots are well made. The two tone color is very nice and different from ordinary. The lighter contrast material is comfortable for warmer days. I ordered a half size up and it worked, ordered an 8 1/2 Am glad with purchase and would recommend.
