I would recommend and buy again.

I am now a believer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My legs usually never feel the cold. I've long been a believer in no base layers on my lower half. However, these have converted me after only a few weeks! While my legs don't feel cold, I realized I needed more layers on my top half to compensate. Now that I've started wearing these I don't have to wear as many layers on top. It makes a huge difference. And these are nice and thin so they don't feel like your are wearing extra bulk on the legs. I've worn these running, hiking, skiing, and standing around. They have performed extremely well - especially when my legs normally would become too hot, these pull the moisture away from my body! I'm already gearing up for another purchase. I almost forgot to mention the Vans checkerboard which is awesome and the plant-based dyes! It's such a cool pattern, each one is unique to the garment, and it doesn't pollute water like synthetic dye! #SmartwoolLove

The perfect 2nd skin layer
