Whether you're hitting the trail for a weekend or for a longer haul, the SlingFin 2Lite Tent has you covered. This 2-person, 3-season tent is surprisingly spacious and weather-proof considering its light weight. It emphasizes strength, with aluminum poles and a silicone-coated fly that stand up to wind and rain without weighing your pack down, and the No-See-Um mesh canopy ensures that no creepy crawlies will visit you in your sleeping bag while allowing you to see the sky when you bed down. Two vestibules and an extended interior space provide plenty of room for you to store your gear where it's protected from the elements, and the double doors minimize the number of times you and your partner have to crawl over each other to get in and out.

Very Packable Tent
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Used this tent on a weekend backpacking trip up in the Wasatch this fall. I've been working to get my pack as light as possible and this tent helped tremendously. For a two person tent the 2lite tent is ultra light and ultra packable. But for being so light weight, the fabric seems to remain pretty durable. The mesh upper comes down pretty far around the sides of the tent and allows for lots of air flow. Though we didn't need it, the rain fly offered great coverage and would definitely keep you dry in a down pour. Also, the vestibules provide plenty of space for your pack and shoes. I didn't give it 5 stars because it's a little small for 2 people, but this is understandable since it's SO lightweight. Still, I'm only 5'7" 135 lbs and my fiance is 5'5" 120 lbs. We aren't big people and if we were a little squished I can't imagine how anyone bigger than us would feel. Length wasn't an issue, just the width. Also I don't like that it's not free standing.
