Why We Like The Salomon Supercross 4 Trail Running Shoe
When snowmelt leaves the trails soggy and wild, we lace into the Salomon Supercross 4 Trail Running Shoe. The updated upper is burlier to better handle debris-littered trails yet still lets air flow through freely to afford overheating. As we stride, bound, juke, and hurdle along technical terrain, this shoe's Sensifit design uses the lacing cage to give our midfoot a secure, customized hug that locks our foot in for the ride. And to keep our strikes solid and our toe-offs efficient, the deep, groovy lugs bite into soft earth, stick to slick rocks, and release mud along the way for reliable grip through every mile.

I'm replacing older Salomon hikers. They are lightweight and stable. Love them!

Nice shoes. Run very large
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- 8.5
For context, I wear a 9 in Merrell, Nike, Sorel, and (I thought) Salomon. Saw that it was recommended to size down and got these in an 8.5, definitely should've ordered an 8. They are a full inch longer than my size 9 Merrells. In spite of that, they are comfortable right out of the box and I won't have any issues with my toes hitting the end of the shoe! The soles do seem thinner than my old Speedcross shoes, and I don't like the lacing stash system on these as well as I liked the Speedcross, but they'll do.

Awesome hiking shoes
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Size Bought:
- 7.5
This is my 2nd pair of Solomon’s n I really like how they fit. Shoes are wide enough and the arch is good, I don’t need to put in inserts. It’s a no tie shoelace, in which, you just pull on laces to tighten. The bottom of shoe has great grips on them n the shoes lasted me a pretty long time. Overall, great shoes for hiking. I buy these when it’s on sale tho.

Very poor quality
- Familiarity:

- 9

I have had these shoes as well as another pair of Salomon trail running shoes. Neither shoe lasted a full year. Large holes started to form on the sides of the shoes after four months and the shoelaces broke after ten months on both pairs. After contacted Salomon, they would not provide a refund. I am an avid hiker and on the trail a lot and will never buy from Salomon again. I would give it less than one star but that’s not an option.

I am a true 8.5 and I had to triple check, did I buy a mens shoe? Nope. Also super cheap looking and not quality. Extremely unfortunate that you have to pay to ship it back. I guess I wont be shopping at Backcountry anymore.

Best travel shoes
I love these sneakers they were the only pair I needed while hiking & rappelling water falls in Belize. Dried quickly, no blisters from day 1 and great tracking climbing steep trails

Love! Lightweight, comfortable
I bought these a month ago with the intention of using on day hikes and longer trips (ie. backpacking in Southeast Asia) and they have been great so far! Lightweight, comfortable, and supportive enough. I know these will stand the test of time!

Rainproof only
I loved the design of the shoe and the comfort. And it is a great one for daily use. It is protective during the rain but It took water in immediately in the mud. I would expect longer resistance before starting to take water in.
