The Roxa Cliffnotes 120 Ski Boots can't actually hike for turns or shred a line for you, but they can make it feel like they're doing most of the work. Not many boots balance descending and climbing capability, and while the Cliffnotes skews towards the downhill end of the spectrum, it can still get up with a killer ski/walk system that teams up with the boot's Cabrio three-piece design for smooth, friction-free ascending. Instead of a two-piece shell/design, the Cliffnotes features a shell, cuff, and tongue, which gives the boot a progressive flex that improves climbing and skiing performance. It's also easy to get on and off, so cold parking lot mornings won't be a painful disaster.
Inside, an Intuition Power Lace heat-moldable liner lets you fine tune the boot's fit, and the MAMS fit system is designed to accommodate your ankle bones so you can hike and ski without feeling like your feet are being gnawed on by hungry gerbils. Four micro-adjustable buckles let you dial in the fit even further (the toe buckle is inverted for better volume control and durability), and the locking power strap cranks down the cuff for serious shredding. Roxa put a shock absorber in the heel, so you don't get crushed after hard landings, included removable rubberized sole lugs for grip on treacherous terrain, and built in friction-free tech inserts for smooth skinning with your favorite tech bindings.
