We get a lot more fish in the XV Sashimi LG Splitboard compared to its short-and-wide sibling, the Sushi. With 11 more centimeters of length and a more nimble waist, we can take this board into narrow chutes and sketchy drops rather than staying in familiar bowls. The long rockered nose still delivers on float and flow, and camber from the front foot to the tail keeps us stable through highs-speed descents and icy climbs. A mid-stiff flex delivers the ideal amount of response for tricky situations, and Rossignol's Reverse Directional flex is softer toward the tail to simplify maneuvers for a more playful ride down.

Such a fun and capable board! I have ripped it in-bounds, deep pow back-country, long approaches with icy trails down gullies and it even jumps well too. I also love that its durable as heck and I dont feel bad hitting some rocks and roots with it compared to some other decks. Love the surfy vibe it instills while allowing good control on hard snow and icy conditions, most likely due to the rockered nose but heavy camber under foot. I'm on my second season with it and cant praise enough. Also this board has a stiffer nose progressing to a less stiff tail. I ride this in the Wasatch for reference.
