Inject some freestyle finesse into your all-mountain attack with the super-responsive, hard-charging performance of the Rossignol Angus Magtek Snowboard. This directional twin has a half-inch set-back for straight-line stability and added float through deep, untracked snow. Its All-Mountain Amptek profile delivers 60% rocker in the tips (30% in each tip) and 40% camber underfoot, giving the ability to plane through bottomless pow without submerging, also adding a bit of playfulness to an otherwise very stiff deck.
Roller Base technology raises the base edges of the board by one-millimeter or roughly two-degrees, helping to improve float and reduce the chance of catching an edge. Ultimately, this gives the board a more relaxed, surfy feel when you're transitioning from edge-to-edge on hardpack, while enhancing float through the deep stuff.
Inside this aggressive, stiff-flexing board, you'll find a Wood C/K S-Tips core, meaning the board has a full wood core with carbon stringers in the tips and Aramid (a.k.a. Kevlar) reinforcement through the board's center. The S-Tips are loaded with carbon stringers running from the board's center to the tips, giving you explosive pop when you're launching kickers and natural features in the backcountry. While carbon is extremely useful for extra pop, Aramid soaks up high-speed chatter and nasty vibrations for a super-smooth, ultra-damp ride.
Gripping onto hardpack much like a serrated knife edge, the board's Magne-Traction 5S edges have 5 bumps on each edge for insane edge hold on icy, hardpacked days. Moreover, Rossignol uses their Radcut sidecut for smooth edge-to-edge response and a lively overall feel. Add in a super-fast sintered 7500 base for a board that's ready to fly down steeps and cruise through deep snow.
