Made for sending steeps at crazy-fast speeds, picking apart big mountain lines, and slashing deep powder, the RIDE 2024 Insano BOA Snowboard Boot is a freeride fanatic's dream. With its super-stiff flex and precise fit, it offers the support and response we need for riding fast and shredding hard anywhere on the mountain. The BOA® Fit System featuring an H4 Focus dial lets us independently adjust the upper and lower zones of the boot in seconds so we get a perfectly locked-in fit with ease, while lace guides evenly distribute tension to eliminate day-shortening pressure points. A rebound heel counter and Impacto Elite footbed provide cushioning and impact-absorption for big landings off natural features, while the Michelin Traverse sole offers lightweight grip in snowy or icy conditions. Since this boot thrives on exposed peaks, RIDE equipped it with heat-reflective foil and Black Gold liner mesh for added heat retention and moisture dispersion to keep our feet warm and dry in winter's worst.

I’m on my 3rd pair of Insanos in about 6 yrs. Will keep buying them when the current pair packs out. Great from day 1 but they hit their sweet spot after about 5 days break-in; days 5-40 you’re in prime time; 40+ the liner packs out but the boots are still rideable, just softer flex and less cushioned. These boots have great stiffness while still allowing for a natural ankle flex if you push into it. Great lateral stiffness and overall power to drive through your board. Great traction on dicey hikes. If you ride hard, these will not let you down when it counts most. Buy them, put a custom insole in them, heat mold and you’re golden!
