I am delighted with my
I am delighted with my rab climbing trousers, leggings and gloves (recently purchased) so I was a bit disappointed that the 'wooly' fabric on the Alpha Fllash jacket pulls and unravels every time it encounters a rough surface (e.g. velcro). Otherwise it is neat, light and a good warm layer).

I love it! Rab clothing
I love it! Rab clothing is my ‘go to’ for fit and function. Would have liked a more functional side seam pocket as opposed to a chest pocket.

Unbelievably warm for the weight!
I've been looking for a Polartech Alpha fleece for a while. This one is great as it has a chest pocket and stretch panels on the sides. The warmth is great, where I was wearing a different insulating layer previously I've found it runs a lot warmer than traditional thermal mid-layers. It is not very bulky, if you're looking for a bulky fleece this isn't the one, which makes it great for layering.

Good fit and felt nice
Good fit and felt nice and warm. However, I didn't keep this jacket as I had hoped to use it as an outer layer on less cool days and it didn't feel or look robust enough for hiking in rough terrain/undergrowth. I could see it getting snagged and ruined very quickly. It is a bit pricy for something that I would only dare wear underneath another layer.

Sleeves are only fit for monkey arms. Soooo long they are ridiculous.

Amazingly weightless and warm too!
It's so light I can't tell I'm actually wearing it! At the same time, it keeps me toasty warm. I wore it as a mid layer on a snowy hike and it's super breathable and warm.
