I wear these so much I bought them in 3 colors. They are lightweight, pliable, yet sturdy fabric-feels like a second skin. Like the extra thigh zipper pocket, great for a cell phone or stash of cash. I have a small waist, wider hips, and regular sized thighs, and these fit me perfectly-got all my curves ( I hate when there are huge gaps at the waist, or the thighs are too tight) and fits well but not tight. Add a t-shirt and take a hike, or dress up with a nice blouse and go out-these are a go-to-everywhere pair.

I'm usually a sz 2 in Prana shorts/pants , but these fit small and short in the crotch. Had to go up 1 size - sz 4. With the drawstring, they fit perfectly. The material is much like the Halle II pants/shorts which I wear a sz 2. Love the pockets and stretch. I'm short waisted, long legs, slim in hips/butt. These make my butt look amazing :). Can't wait to really test them out. And, yes, they should be good for hiking/boating and going out at night.

I bought these for hiking while in Hawaii, I did a longer hike in these on a hot day and they were lightweight in the humidity and rain. The one thing I will say is they did run a little small, I did size up 1 size to make them work, however, I love the fabric and fit on these once I figured out my size! They were moisture-wicking and would just bead water and roll off. I stayed dry the entire day! Would highly recommend for travel pants or hiking!
