Celebrate the history of the National Parks.

You've seen Crater Lake in Oregon, towering El Capitan above Yosemite, and Yellowstone's iconic Old Faithful geyser. With the Pendleton National Park Blanket Collection, you can commemorate the epic beauty of these magical places in supreme comfort. Since the early 1900s, Pendleton has honored these national treasures with the boldly colored designs of this collection. Like all of Pendleton's blankets, these are woven in their own mill in Washington State. Each blanket is made of pure virgin wool and features an authentic Pendleton label as well as a full-color woven label depicting the park it represents.

    • Festive blanket commemorates America's National Parks
    • Pure virgin wool provides cozy-warmth and comfort
    • Made Pendleton's mill located in Washington State
    • Dry clean only (washing at home may ruin blanket)

    Pendleton Everything!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have had my eye on this blanket for years. After a long wait and saving of pennies I finally purchased the Pendleton National Park Blanket Collection in Acadia. I use it everyday as a throw over my comforter because I am always cold. The only downfall is that it is dry-clean only. Be careful with the wool to not damage the quality.

Really I see it as an investment, you'll have it forever.

    Love this blanket

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I got this for my brother for his birthday and he absolutely loves it and I loved it so much that I had to buy one myself. It is super soft and comfortable and very warm and looks amazing too. I got the Badlands color and love it!

Please sir can I have some more...

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Great blanket vs the cost. I have a few Hudson Bay wool blankets and compared to this wool blanket there are some differences. Hudson Bay blankets are more dense and not for the sensitive skin types. The Pendleton wool blankets are lighter and softer, and top quality especially when considering the price. IMHO you get more blanket than $$ spent, especially if you can get it 20% off. As for single outdoor sleeping use, I would say that its good down to 52-55F but not any colder. Only complaint is with Backcountry, would like to see more of the twin and half sizes with the other National Park wool blankets... A Queen is a little big to be dragging around a camp fire or throwing in a sleeping bag for that extra comfort.

    Five Stars

It's a lot of money for a blanket. But you will not regret it. I have used this all winter long as my comforter on my mattress at home. Its super warm and looks awesome. The only downside is you have to dry clean it.

    Super High Quality, Durable Blanket

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

My wife and I have longed for a Pendleton blanket for quite some time now, and finally decided to pull the trigger after putting holes in a cheap fleece blanket we've had for many years.

From the get-go you can tell this thing is made with durability and comfort in mind. The workmanship is excellent and the color of the Rainier collection is beautiful. I would not recommend the queen size for a single person or very small bed, but for a queen/king sized bed or a large couch this thing is perfect.

The wool is not scratchy in the least bit and it seems to repel dog hair a lot better than I expected. it has some serious weight to it and I can't imagine you will need much more than itself and a small sheet to stay warm.

Looking forward to keeping this blanket in the family as a buy it for life item.

    "Blanket is Lit"

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I gave this as a birthday gift to a friend. When I asked what he thought about it... He responded with "Blanket is Lit". Unfortunately, that is all that I got.

I do know he uses it often while traveling/camping, as I constantly see it posted in his pictures or snap chats. So that's a good sign!

    Everyone needs a wool blanket!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I camp out a lot and one thing that I've found that is indispensable in my adventures is a wool blanket. Few things provide ultra comfort and warmth in the great outdoors than a wool blanket. Pendleton makes some of the best around too. Given that this will last for years and years let's me know this is a great purchase. Expertly made here in the USA. Wonderful addition to my gear arsenal and very happy with the purchase! Thx backcountry!

    Need more!

Maybe 1 is enough though. With a nice weight and very soft this thing is great. I ordered the smaller size and still think it's plenty big enough. Maybe it's just me but I think it almost resists my dogs hair? Great blanket to keep on hand for a cold night on the couch or as a blanket for a warm summer night in bed

    My wife likes this.

Bought this as a Christmas present for my wife. We're going to use it in our camper and have been using in our bed at home. It's a little scratchy (to be expected), so you definitely want a sheet between you and it. Great quality and really cool looking.

    Super Warm Blanket

We bought this for our queen size bed & cold Park City nights. This blanket definitely does the trick! We actually had to remove one of the other blankets that we used as this one does the work of more than one blanket. It is also plenty big enough for a queen bed & two people.

Gave two of these as a gift to my mother. She loves the color and quality of the material. They're now used on the guest room beds in my parents' vacation home.

    Love Pendleton Blankets

This is my second Pendleton Blanket and I absolutely love them. They are so warm, great style, and built to last. I hope I have these blankets forever. Even though they are a little pricey they are definitely worth it.

    Love the Yellowstone Blanket!!

    • Size Bought: twin

This blanket is the best wool blanket I've found. I used it during our recent summer trip through Alaska and the Yukon. We slept in a roof top tent for over a month and the blanket was perfect for making the tent feel like home. It was essential on the nights that slipped below freezing.

When we were not using it in the tent it became the favorite spot to sit or recline at camp, or a blanket to wrap up in around the fire.

It's thicker than I expected and the wool is soft and not itchy. These blankets are the real deal and I'll be using them for years to come.

    Love the Yellowstone Blanket!!

Remember that time you went to Yellowstone or maybe the Grand Canyon? Now wrap yourself in those memories with this super soft wool Pendleton blanket. Better yet, bring it with you the next time you go back.

    Woolen warmth.

This is perhaps one of my all-time favorite blankets. As an anniversary present, my husband and I picked up the Acadia National Park edition (as we spent our mini-moon there). I'm totally in love - the thick, thick wool and generous (think fit for a queen-sized bed) construction assures warmth and hard-wearing style. Whenever we travel, car camp, etc, we bring this blanket just in case we get stranded without adequate warmth!

    Rocky Mountain Queen

I just picked up the Rocky Mountain National Park blanket and I love it. I currently have it on my queen size mattress and it looks great and is so warm! I can't wait to take it camping this summer.

      Pendleton Means QUALITY

To own a Pendleton blanket is something special. I have one that is 40 years old!

I think that's a pretty striking testimony to the quality and craft that Pendleton instills in it's products.

This is probably the BEST gift you could ever give someone.

Be it a wedding or a special birthday, this is a gift that someone you love can cherish for 40 years and more...

      I'll pass on that job.

The blanket is very nice. I purchased the Rainier queen.

I got it to be a concert blanket but it is itchier than I would like it to be against your bare skin. It is warm though.

I will just use it for its intended purpose and use it in the spare bedroom where I keep my climbing gear.

I think giving these as gifts to people who have climbed Rainier would be a really cool gift to give them. I have thought about embroidering the date of their climb and their name on one corner. I don't know.. I think it would be cool to receive one like that.
