Great until zipper broke

This fleece was adorable on my 2yo daughter and it was the only coat she wanted to wear. Unfortunately, the zipper didn’t hold up and fell off the second time it was washed.

There's nothing cuter than a mini Patagonia fleece on a child. I bought this for my 2.5yo niece in size 3T so she can grow into it and wear it in the transitional spring months. It's thin enough that she can layer under a thicker coat in the winter and in the spring it'll be perfect as her layering piece.

Ordered two of these for my 1+ yr old twinises when they were about 10 mo, hoping that they would last a long time. They have been great so far. We live in Alaska, but like to get out an walk, ski, or hike several times a week. These have been awesome for our cooler spring and summers. My one small critic is that they are listed at 18 mo, when the tag actually says 12-18 mo. Not an issue for our girls as they are on the smaller side of averaged sized so these should last until at least 18 mo, but if you have a child on the larger size its something to consider. I still marked it true to size because it will work for our girls. Otherwise, a fantastic jacket.

I go back to Patagonia repeatedly for my toddler size fleece, toddler baselayers and my toddler down jackets because of the correct warmth, durability, looks great after high usage, they're washable, and the colors and accents are just totally CUTE. This Synchilla Cardigan is made with a soft, pliable fleece, and they've managed to create it with enough density to hold the heat and even head-off the wind as well or better than any polyester fleece. Perfect for chill spring and fall mornings, winter layering, camping & hiking, late eveining at the soccer field and more. If you anticipate the possible need to bring along a "just-in-case", this is also it. Kids love wrapping up in this cozy jacket that still allows them to cut it loose and just be kids. I noted that this is true to size, however, that varies slightly with such a range of body build with these little ones; I typically order a little large only because these stay good looking for so long I tend to want to extend the use period through some growth. LOVE IT!

I always have a fleece for my daughter. The Synchilla Cardigan has become our go-to. She usually keeps them for 6-8 months and they barely even show wear. The hood allows me to keep her warmer if the temperature drops. Overall I love this fleece and will continue to always have one in her size. I usually size up with Patagonia so that she can get more wear out of the clothing. My daughter is 2 years and 2 months and pretty average sized. She wears 2-3T in most clothing. I bought a 3T and it fits well with the sleeves rolled up. If you're on the fence I'd recommend sizing up.

I got this as a gift for my friend's daughter and she loved it!! My friend told me that her daughter would not take it off, she even would wear it to bed. I told her, I have the adult synchilla and it does feel like you're bundled up in a warm, cozy blanket. Worth every penny, your child will love it too

I love Patagonia and this sweater is no exception. Picked this up for my niece for Christmas and she looked adorable in it. The fit was perfect. She is about 18 months and I got her a 2T. Seemed pretty much the same quality as adult Patagonia fleeces I've owned. Hoping she gets a lot of wear out of it!

I bought this for my goddaughter and she really looks adorable in it. I love the various colors/prints on offer. She lives in Latvia, where winters are pretty cold and I'd say this is a perfect fall jacket for the weather there and good to wear under another layer for the winter. She's 2 and i bought size 2T. She's pretty petite, so I expected it to be big, but the sleeves were really long. Otherwise it's great.

This is the 3rd Synchilla Cardigan I have purchased for my daughter who is now 4.5. Her 3T fit until this fall and I believe this 5T will fit next fall/winter too. It is warm and cozy and she loves wearing it which isn't true for most jackets! The colors are always cute and the fleece stands up after lots of washes without pilling. I will definitely buy again- hoping it comes in bigger sizes!

The Patagonia Synchilla line of clothing has been wonderful! This jacket is great for my toddler, works well in the car seat. Is a little thicker than most fleece. Often worn in combination with the Synchilla vest. It runs a little large and yet fits well, has lasted all winter. I give it four stars because it does not have pockets and my toddler likes pockets to put her hands in.

Got this for my toddler last month, and she will not leave home without this on! She loves it! For running errands and sitting in the car, this is perfect. not chunky or clunky, very cute, and the hood stays on so nicely. Not the right choice for outside winter play or skiing, at least as an outer layer, but perfect for day-today.

Very cute pattern. Looks just like the picture. Not quite as thick as our north face Oso so we are sending this one back. However, if you are looking for something less bulky in a wintry print, would definitely recommend.
