Outdoor Research's HighCamp Mitten performs well in the backcountry, resort, or where ever else it goes. Designed with a new Vertical X insulation, this mitten retains warmth even when you're out in the blower storm of the season. The waterproof Ventia insert fends off snow and moisture to protect your hand so there won't be any chilling liquid seeping into the glove. And when the storm finally ceases as you crest up to the ridgeline scoping out your line of fresh snow ready to be carved, take off the outer shell of the mitt and take a photo of the scenery with your phone while wearing the touchscreen compatible liner.

I would buy this product again.
Mittens fit a little tight. Otherwise a great glove mitt combo.

Not warm under 30°
First and only positive, they are very well made... Unfortunately It took about 10 minutes for these to completely fail on a 15° hike, even with hand warmers. The fit in the forefinger and thumb are tight because the inserts are too big and kinda junk, very thin... Overall disappointed.

Love this mitten! Used for 8 yrs and now buying another pai
Warm outdoor mitt. Used in all skiing and back country winter conditions with light weight liners and in really extreme conditions, added heaters. Very durable. Lasted me 8 years with heavy use. Buying another pair.

Nice gloves, but don't like the liners
Nice gloves and easy to put on and take off. However, I don't like the mitten liners and doesn't have a warmer pocket that would be really nice.

So Comfortable- SO War,
The combination of the inner mitten and the high loft of the insulation makes these just so comfortable to wear. Never really thought that would be someting that I would consider such a benefit, but they were awesome to wear for a long snowboard session. Temps around 0 and it was the warmest my hands have ever been, I was super impressed.

Great outer waterproof and windproof mitts
I like having layers with my hands. I lost ONE of my OR GoreTex mitts at the top of a mountain so replaced it with this set. They aren't GoreTex but seem very similar. They are working great so far!

Yippee, not too hot!
Ditched the inner gloves and the lining isn't too hot for physical activity.

Good quality
I bought thease for a Kilimanjaro trip next fall. I tested them in the Blue Ridge mountains last weekend and think they will keep my hands warm in Africa. I keep going back to OR for good prices and good gear.
