Excellent
Excellent comfort and performance. I deliberately wore the whole set in warmer and colder environments than it's made for, no issues. Be mindful when it's new the Red color way puts off a lot of red fuzz.

Warm, comfortable, and well made!
I am a blind individual, and it is therefore always difficult to purchase the correct items online without getting to physically handle them first. However, Outdoor Research gear has always been reliable and trusted by me. The description of the alpine merino liners on the wetsite was great, and the measuring chart also was exact. Therefore I could purchase the correct size, and had a good idea of the product I was purchasing. I live in the Boston area and have used my liner to go hiking during very windy and cold days. In particular, I was blown away with how the liners performed during a wet and windy hike. I wore my liner and rain pants, and even though the wind made it feel like temperature was in the single digits during my hike my legs were perfectly warm. The liner has also served me well during more practical day-to-day situations like waiting for an Uber in downtown Boston during a windy day at rush hour. Also, the liner is extremely comfortable and I have found that it feels good whether I am wearing it under my jeans or at home by itself. Construction is durable and seems like it will last for a long time; many years of hiking and day-to-day use. Definitely a recommended item from a brand that never disappoints!

Not recommended
Fabric repeatedly sheds large amounts of dye. Fabric sheds large amounts of coloured dye on skin when worn, and sheds large amounts of coloured dye in the washing machine when laundered. Store did exchange the original item, but the same problem occurred with the replacement item. Unwearable and unusable as a result. Not recommended.

Skin fit but no waste pressure.
Fantastic thermals. Feels like a second skin but they don't create any pressure on the waste. Absolutely love them

Highly Reccomend
It is a great lightweight piece for high-exertion activities where you may need an extra layer for warmth. I wore these for a few days in a row, and they held their shape and didn't stretch out as some wool pieces will over time. I am 5'6 and 150lbs, and the small is a perfect fit.

Great light baselayer that keeps you warm!
Great light baselayer that would have gotten 5 stars if it was more comfortable. Seemed a little stiff and didn't have that super soft feeling similar products I have purchased in the past. It does keep you warm as I was sweating in these after a while.
