    Large-load backpack.

Prepare yourself for a weeklong backpacking trip into Glacier National Park with the Osprey Xenith 75 Backpack. This beefy backpack hauls enough gear to keep roaming the wilderness for a week, while maintaining enough comfort so you can traverse across scree fields or hike up to a glacier lake. Its LightWire peripheral frame suspension provides solid structural support while the Xenith's BioForm 4 CM hip-belt and harness give you a comfortable, supportive, and customized fit. The Airscape back panel allows the load to sit close to your body for balance, while allowing air to flow through mesh to let your sweat dissipate. Multiple pockets allow you to organize your smaller items, including the removable lid that doubles as a daypack for a quick run up to a nearby summit.

    • Burly backpack for extended trips
    • Airscape panel keeps the load close and breathes
    • External reservoir sleeve is accessible under load
    • BioForm 4 harness and hip-belt for comfortable carrying
    • Front stretch pocket keeps rain gear accessible and separate
    • Side zips access the main compartment without lid removal
    • Removable lid doubles as a daypack
    • Item #OSP00AG

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I tried several bags before i decided on this one. The Fit was perfect for me. I would recommend getting fitted by an Osprey dealer before buying though. I've used my several times for weekend and 3 week treks and it keeps getting more comfortable. It has a lot of adjustability and can be customized to fit your needs. The only complaint is that it doesn't come with a rain fly.

Thank you for the review! Yes, we give people the option to buy a fly separately, or it would add to the whole pack, and some folks might not want that option, or might already have one. Thank you for the review!

How do I now which size to pick?

    Hey Ricardo!

First you'll need to measure your torso length. To do this, tilt your head down and when you feel the back of your neck, there will be a vertebra that is sticking out. That one is your C7 and will be the top of your torso.

On each side of your body, slide your hands down the ribcage to the top of your hip bones (aka the iliac crest). With index fingers pointing forward and thumbs pointing backward, draw an imaginary line between your thumbs. This spot on your lumbar is the bottom of your torso measurement.

Stand up straight and have your friend measure the distance between the C7 and the imaginary line between your thumbs. That’s your torso length.

There is a sizing chart link above the size choice on this page and you just match up your size to what the chart is and you're all set!
