I bought these for my daughter for climbing team. 3-hour practice 3 times a week, plus competitons. They took a while to break in. Now she loves them! We went through 3 sizes until she settled on the size 9 (US women's). Seems crazy big for her, street shoe size between 6.5 to 7, but there are still big calluses on her big toes. The rubber is very sticky; edging is confidence-inspiring. Too bad these are hard to find... Now I have a very hard time finding anything else for her, trialed many pairs ...

Took a Chance and I'm Impressed!

I typically wear La Sportiva, but when my last pair fully wore out, I decided to replace them with as cheap a pair as I could find. Found these for around $70 and decided to take a chance on a company I wasn't familiar with. First off, they're very difficult to size; the first pair I ordered were a full size up from my street shoe (street shoe: 7.5, this shoe 8.5) and no matter what I did, I couldn't even get them on. Returned and opted for a size 9 (largest available at the time) and it just barely fit. They've stretched some, but are still quite tight and uncomfortable. Additionally, while they're snug through the toes and mid-foot, I feel like the heels are a bit looser and I can feel them adjust slightly on heel hooks, but nothing significant. Definitely recommend sizing up, regardless! The rubber is fantastic - super sticky and edges very well. I feel quite stable in them, regardless of the terrain. It's also held up quite well and retained its stiffness despite long sessions in them. Additionally, the velcro straps are convenient and make it easier to take the shoe on and off, but I can't tighten the top strap fully because there is too much fabric and it wrinkles and presses into the top of my foot. Overall, he quality is very good and so far, I'm impressed with the longevity. A couple minor inconveniences with the fit of the shoe, but nothing that affects my climbing.

Better than expected

Great option for a moderately aggressive low volume fit. The heel, mid, and forefoot areas fit like a glove and run true to size, however I did have to size up about a half to full size to ever hope to fit my toes in. I have been climbing for about 10 years so I’m accustomed to the cramped feel of climbing shoes; but there is a lot of rubber coverage on the toe area which limits the amount that these will stretch. I wear a street shoe size 7 women’s, and have managed to make a 7.5 ozone work although its definitely still a “performance” fit even after 20 or so long sweaty gym sessions. XS grip rubber is great; edging performance is phenomenal, heel hooks feel incredibly secure. Just size up a little bit and expect overly jammed toes.

Ozone climbing shoes has good equality. Love the the great price offered. This is my first climbing shoes and I choose 7 at first since the common sense is to size down (my ordinary size is 7.5), but it is impossible to put the foot in. I changed for a size 8, that is good till now.

Love my Ocun Ozone
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
You definitely need to size up for at least 1 - 1.5 sizes. It's very comfortable. It fits very well that it even creates a suction between my feet and the arch of the shoes. Love it
