Great for tying gear to roof racks and bundling loads, the Nite Ize Gear Tie 64" is a reusable rubber twist tie with an internal wire for strong tie-down performance. As a bonus, there are no knots required, as this rubber tie stays firmly in place once you've twisted it. Plus, it won't scratch or mark your vehicle's paint.

I occasionally add this to my orders to boost up to free shipping. I can never have enough of these and use them for everything. I keep a few spares in my truck and have bailed out more than a few friends and strangers and let them keep them to spread the word.

    Twist Tie for gear!

These things are genius! I don't know why no one thought of this before. Nite Ize really knocked it out of the park with these. The strength and versatility that the Gear Ties offer is incredible. The longer ones are definitely strong enough to hold a bicycle (I've done it). Smaller ones are great for organizing cords and whatnot. Latching things closed. Holding things together.

The rubber exterior ensures no damage to whatever your twisting as well as providing grip so that the tie doesn't slip off.

Once you twist them up once they will never be straight again so don't expect that. Not a big deal though, you're just going to twist them up again!

    Worth every penny.

64 inches sounds overkill but sometimes it's probably just what the doctor ordered.

I'm a huge fan of gear ties and I'm always amazed how short they seem once you start using them.

I have a couple of 24-inchers which I would have thought equal to most tasks but on a recent trip, it would have been dashed handy to have a little more length.

My kingdom for a longer gear tie!

Look at that sleeping pad, that 24" gear tie just barely fits around it and we definitely could have used a second gear tie.

64" probably would have been overdoing it but I can certainly see the use of long Gear Ties.
